10AWG is 6mm2 from what I can see. That's just the maximum/recommended size to fit in the ends of the breaker.

Does the 8mm wire this will take mean 8mm diameter or 8mm squared? I Need it for a heavy duty battery cable

It will easily take 8mm diameter, there are inserts which can be removed giving even more if required.. just remove the grub screw .. Hope this helps

Sorry I am not able to make a judgement on this I am not amazon. I have not had a problem as of this time remember 100 amps is a lot I have it fitted to a 1500 w inverter as safe guard. What is the danger !? I find useful as a isolator when not using inverter. Chris.
