Mens Long Hooded Safety Rain Jacket Waterproof Emergency Raincoat Poncho

It's long which is good.
I use it for work in inclement weather when making deliveries. The length helps with keeping my pants and especially my abdomen and adjoining areas dry so my seat isn't wet. Calf's get wettish but also from repeated splash damage from boots so not the jackets fault. Quality seems fine for price, but did have a slight rip at the bottom of the zipper from the jacket. Minor sewing repair should fix but honestly that was from heavy duty getting in and out of the delivery vehicle, and I wouldn't say it's normal everyday wear and tear issue. It's water proof, not water resistant WHICH means, it can and does get hot. But slightly sweaty and muggy is different than extremely soaked from a down pour which it does protect from. Keep in mind I'm working, not casually strolling. The size is a bit big, so it fits over your normal cloths. Would buy again. Better than a cheap poncho.

I Would Wear It
My teenage son has to walk a mile to his bus stop, so I thought it would be a good idea to get him a rain coat. This one folds up super small so he can carry it in his backpack and provides much more protection from the rain than an umbrella, especially when it's windy. I picked out a bright color and it has a reflective stripe on it so he is visible to drivers on those rainy mornings before sunrise. I also bought it a couple of sizes larger than he needed both so he wouldn't outgrow it and so he could wear it over his backpack so his computer would not get wet. I've tried it out myself. It is comfortable, well made, and completely blocks the rain. I'm going to buy one for myself and my daughter as well.My son has worn it twice. His protests against it include:"The outside of it gets wet.""My shoes still get wet when I step in puddles.""It drips in my locker."And my favorite, "I don't have time to figure out how this works!"I still recommend this for anyone who is not a teenaged boy, though, because it is an excellent raincoat.

Very good for the price – here’s the good and the bad
I live in south Florida, where it rains every single day in the summer. I have other rain jackets, but I wanted one a little longer, so my shorts don’t get wet in a driving rain. If you don’t feel like reading, here’s the bottom line – this is a great raincoat for the price. The goodI’m 5’11, 185 lbs, and I wear a size 48 jacket. I ordered a size large, and if fits just about perfectly. The sleeves fall right where they should, and the jacket itself comes to my knees. That’s perfect for me… it covers my shorts, so when I get into a store, I’m not freezing from having wet clothes. The sleeves have plenty of room for guys with large hands, and have two snap-able size adjustments. I’ve got big hands, but skinny wrists, and the smallest snap setting is almost too tight for me. The first snap is perfect, but you don’t have to snap them at all.The material is definitely waterproof, and the seams are all sealed with some kind of tape. It’s not tape that can come off, it’s somehow bonded to the material and appears to heat-welded or something. In any case, it’s not peeling off.The zipper and snaps all work well, and are all constructed of some kind of synthetic… maybe nylon? I don’t know, but there is no metal in there, so nothing will rust up on you, even if you’re on the ocean. It has a nice hood, and it even has drawstrings with self-locking tensioners, so you can just pull the strings and slide the lock to keep it there. To release, just push in on the end of the tensioners, and they’ll slide freely back to wherever you want them. There are two pockets, one on each side, down by where your pants pockets would be. They are large enough to hold your hands, or a wallet, smokes, or whatever. It comes with a storage bag. The bag is made of the same material, and has a wrist strap to hang or carry it. A single snap keeps the flap closed, and it’s perfect if this will be kept in your vehicle for roadside emergencies. The BadThe zipper is backwards from normal American men’s jackets. That doesn’t sound like a big deal, and it isn’t, but muscle memory forces me to look down at it each time to figure out why it’s not going on.There are no vents, and no lining, so it can be a bit sweaty and sticky. For me, this is what makes the jacket 4 stars instead of 5. It’s hot and muggy here when it rains, and I would like vents and a lining if I were wearing this all day.The hood doesn’t have a zippered pocket to hide in, nor a small brim you can turn backwards to deflect rain from dripping down on, or in front of, your face. Most don’t, but I guess I got spoiled from my more expensive Vert*x. But I could buy more than a dozen of these jackets for the cost of one Vert*x, and my Vert*x doesn’t cover my shorts at all. When you consider how inexpensive this raincoat is for what you get, it’s a great deal.Hope this helps.

Work
Got it to use for work because I went through so many that broke this one however, has held up beautifully. Such good quality and fit. It’s comfortable and roomy so I’m able to move around and I recently got it dirty and was able to just wipe it down. 10/10 recommend

Great length.
Raincoat fits into a nice size bag for storage. The coat is a good quality weight, perfect size hood for an adult. The length is good to stay dry but still able to walk. We have one in gray, yellow and navy. It is a coat not a poncho.

This is my second purchase of this item
I purchased this coat to put over my puffy winter coat to keep dry while walking the dog or just getting outside for a walk, when it is not easy to carry an umbrella. My normal size is Ladies Medium, and I purchased a Men's Medium with the intention that it be roomy enough to put over a warm coat and other layers. The coat allows me plenty of movement but I am not swimming in it. I would say it works perfectly. I am 5'6" and the coat comes down to below the knees (not too long), keeping the tops of my legs nice and dry. The hood can be cinched so that it doesn't fly off in the wind. The sleeves are not too long for me, and I like that they are long enough that I can tuck my hands up into the sleeves to keep dry. The coat is lightweight but not flimsy. The dogs have jumped on me, and so far no rips. I have both the Lime Green and now Orange. I get LOTS of people asking me where I got it, and comment that it is great for Vancouver rainy days. I find it cleans up with a little soapy water and a wash cloth. I have not put it in the washer (not recommended), as I think the seams may be compromised and no longer waterproof. I had to get a second one as a spare!

Size 👎
Sizing was rubbish. OK if you are wearing a T shirt, but too small for anything thicker. Quality as expected for a cheap raincoat.
