It’s a good tool to use on grommets, but the package I got didn’t have the very thin disk piece and only the tops, luckily I already had extra grommets in the same size! Also!!!! If you use the tool the wrong way the grommet gets bent!!! If you use it correctly it won’t get bent!!! Just FYI since I see a few people that look like they used the tool the same (wrong) way I did, just simply look at the directions or do a few test-grommets before you destroy your project!! Using it correctly will make the grommets come out perfect!

Got this item to use for a tapestry we hung at our wedding. It was so simple to use and worked perfectly.. It came with 2 different color clasp things and the tool.. Love it and will be put to good use

I only got this for one use, so got the least expensive one. Some very rough surfaces will hurt your (or your kid's) hands unless you tape over them, or have files to address this.

I've owned a few of these in the past and this is of great value, looks like it's sturdy enough for what I'm doing.... and the amount of pieces in this kit makes it even more valuable to someone like me....

I have to agree with both the good and bad reviews. If you follow the picture instructions located only in the product pictures at Amazon, you will be able to attach the larger grommet with the included tool. One side of the fabric will look good and the other side will look okay. I only say okay because it is not a two part grommet but only one piece that bends cut metal around in a circle. If you want smooth and finished on both sides I suggest you buy something with the two part grommet. The little grommets do not work at all. They are so small and soft that the circle grommet will become an off-shaped oval and not crush completely. The best I did was just start the crimp with the tool then use a hammer to lightly tap flat but that still left a tear drop shape and did not feel secure in the fabric. This set was a waste of money for me since I only wanted the small "eyelets" and not the larger size.

The tool came misaligned, so only half of the grommet ever gets properly crushed into place. This makes it entirely unusable.Don’t worry about the comments saying they only provide male grommet pieces—with this type of punch you only use one, not two. However, if it’s misaligned, you can’t even do that.

First, the product was delayed it's arrival for almost a week of its original date. There was no communication from the vendor to us until a day after the expected date. I filed a complaint to Amazon, them the vendor reach out to me. They try to return some credit to me for the next order, but given this experience, I would never use them again. I personally dislike zero communication between vendors and the client. The product comes without any instructions, I had to experiment a few of them to do it properly. However, the product's material seems cheap, it is not worse 30 bucks in my opinion.
