Medical Boot Cover Walking Brace Orthopedic Fracture Cast with Integrative Slip-Resistant Rubber Sole (Black, Short, X-Large)

This surgical boot cover is exactly as advertised and works great! Full coverage keeps my wound clean and dry, and also keeps my boot protected from the elements so I’m not tracking in outside dirt into my home when wearing it inside!

Have used these before with walking boots - also works with cast. Its not the most durable, the sole will wear out if you walk on concrete and stones, but what do you expect its just a piece of vinyl, not a leather hiking boot! It will keep your boot or cast dry getting to and from the car in rain and snow, just don't go hiking thru 6" of snow then it will leak. If you have a cast be mindful of sole size - a medium cover fit fine for a 12" long cast shoe. Definitely better than using a plastic bag!

Very easy to put on and remove with double zipper at the back. Durable.

I bought this because I knew I would be doing a lot of walking in the rain. The first couple of days it was fine, but it leaked badly by the third day. I had to resort to using duct tape to keep my foot somewhat dry by the end of the week. There must be a better product out there somewhere. The concept is good the execution is poor. I think I’ll try getting a shoe cover for rain and just size it up next.

I have a tall medium aircast - the medium size fits perfectly. Easy to put on. It’s a damp day - i bought this orimarily to keep my boot/foot clean and dry while in the barn. Will try it out later today and this week and hopefully update this review laterUpdate: have used this cover about a week now whenever i go outside. It keeps the boot clean when i am in barn. I’ve walked the gravel drive a couple times now. It’s easy to put on and has held up well so far. The first day was pretty wet and my toes got wet so i put a cut off baggie over my toe end of the aircast then boot the whole foot and boot in the cover. No wet toes since.I doubt this would work in standing water but wet grass or light rain it has worked for me. When i am out of the boot, i’ll update again.

Went to New York over Christmas break with the family. We did alot of sightseeing & walking. I really liked it was tall enough and snug to cover the entire walking cast allowing my foot to stay dry & clean. My foot did get a bit cold but wore wool bend sock and it took care of the issue in the lower temperature days. Wiped clean with antibacterial wipe at end of day without any issues. I also used over my hard cast to keep my cast dry when going outside in bad weather when using my i-Walk & scooter prior to NYC trip. Would recommend.

This is a good product idea, and works great keeping the weather and debris off of an orthopedic walking boot, but they wear too quickly. I have been trapped in a boot for several months and have relied on them to keep the snow and rain out, but I have lost track of how many I have had to purchase when the bottom wears and fails.I will have this walking boot for a while yet, so I will have to keep ordering new covers. My wish is for a more robust and wear resistant bottom.

Was very excited for this product while my son went to camp with his class. They slept in cabins but did have quite the walk to get to their cafeteria and such as well as other activities. He did not get to do the hiking or many of the activities that would have caused much more wear and tear that the rest of them did due to being in a boot, however at the cost of this cover it only lasted him barely 4 days and the seams are blown out. It fit over his boot with plenty of room so it was not stretched to the max but it is blown out in multiple spots. Providing multiple photos to show the tears as well as how much room there was. Don’t waste your money if you are buying this to protect for multiple days. We have been in a boot far too many times and this was the first I bought one of these thinking it would be great. I was thoroughly disappointed in the money wasted. The only perk is his boot is not covered in mud from walking outdoors everyday. I would give more stars for the water resistant pant but due to the holes that Mary clearly did not stay water resistant. That material does though

Purchased this item for husband's air cast, size Large and it is a perfect fit. Purchased the item with the velcro to keep excess fabric close to the cast/boot. He's only worn it the one time; to pass the tiller in our garden. Kept the boot clean and dry!

Good idea. Poor build quality.Bought this so I could do outdoor work and not the get the compression boot liner & socks wet. I avoided puddles etc.The zip broke after 2 weeks.Compression boot liner and my socks were getting wet 2 days before this.2 weeks = £43.50/week. £6.20 ish per day.I had used a plastic bag and duct tape before this. More faff but a lot cheaper and dry foot!
