Very calming

My kids and I loved it . It comes with a great cushioned bag , it is beautiful and solid, you can even put it in water, looks really nice in the living room or family room, bring strips to hang it while playing standing or to carry it with you. It has 4 different sticks to play. We spend time learning melodies when we are bored. My 8 year old learnt the song of Aladin alone with a paper I wrote with numbers , you can find all of that on you tube. My 11 year old already learnt couple of songs and brought it to school to show off .

Most of the notes sound beautiful with a long tone ring duration.........but, 4 or 5 of the notes...."""THUD""" just a dull metallic "bla thud sound"; with very little duration or no duration at all. That said, me & the family have decided to keep it because, the notes that work well can be played to produce fine sounding rounds of nice relaxing music. Plus, we like it because it looks beautiful and seems very well made. Not sure if there are better ones out there, but for the low price I would say this is as good as it gets. Therefore, I recommend this Steel Tongue Drum....

The media could not be loaded. I’m not by any means a pro musician- music is my hobby and I don’t normally play percussive instruments but I really enjoy this drum! Especially for the low price it sounds pretty good and a great way to come up with different sounds and melodies. Sure it’s not “professional” grade but for $60 I woulda settled for slightly better sounding than a tin can!

Gift for my 4 year old grandsons birthday. The expression on his face was priceless and he loves it!I’ve bought another for my other grandsons birthday coming up .With all the crazy noises coming from toys these days, this is a beautiful noise adults can live with !

I can't read music but was easily able to identify the scale (do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti). My wife and daughter were able to play immediately. Our son was able to play using a song book right away. The sound is so relaxing and deep. We plan on getting other sizes.

The thing I liked most about this tongue drum while considering different specs and companies was the way the notes were arranged on the drum. (e.g., all 1’s were together, all 2’s were together, all 3’s were together, and so on). This makes playing much easier than having to stop to hunt for a particular note. I have really enjoyed playing this tongue drum.

It's really cute and feels nice and hefty. The tones it makes aren't very clear though. Still, it was a great gift for a 9-year-old girl.

Maybe for someone. Definitely better value than its copycat. Im no musician however.
