Good and Sharp but not pretty.
This cleaver knife is not pretty looking but it's very sharp and I liked the fact that it has a good weight for cutting meats. I was making tendons soup with veggies and it took no effort to cut the tendons into small slices. I would've had a hard time doing this with my other knives. If you want a prettier cleaver this isn't it but if you want just a sharp one this will do. Btw after washing by hand dry quickly with a towel and use a bit of cooking oil on the blade to prevent rusting. It's forged carbon steel, not stainless steal.

Not much of an eye for detail.
Seems like I decent tool. The weight is excellent. The price is good. I can attest to other reviewers noting the lack of craftsmanship in the handle. There are several gaps between the wood and the tang. Two of them are a solid mm gap at 2-3 cm long. I wasn't expecting much for the price as I have very high quality Japanese knives, but I can't overlook the severity of the gaps in the handle. I haven't put a clamp on it yet to see if it will close up. Not sure if I will return it yet or not.

Great quality for money
I love decent knives and bought this thinking it would be what I needed as a gift for my daughter. I had a chefs knife made for her a year ago and she knows now what a good knife feels like. When this arrived I was very pleased as it was made well, was very sharp and the shape and balance fit well in the hand. I made a sheath for it and she uses it many times a day. The edge is easy to restore with a few swipes of a steel. Great value.

Great
Sharp and very well balanced. After chopping on pork ribs, the blade is still as sharp as new. Hope it would stay this way. The workmanship could be better on the handle where the steel and wood are not perfectly aligned. It is ok since it's not a everyday knife.

exellente qualité/prix
Très beau couperet. Pour le prix ,c'est difficile de faire mieux. Belle finition. Grosse poignée. Je suis boucher et j'étais tanné d'utiliser mon ''skinner'' pour casser de la volaille. Les os endommagent rapidement la lame. Je dois donc l'aiguiser souvent. Jai essayé le couperet sur un poulet et une dinde et c'est parfait. Je ne l'ai cependant pas essayé sur des os plus gros. Livraison utra rapide ( 2 jours en livraison standard!) Je conseille!
