I used the cleaner/brightener product first and then did 2 coats of oil on these thirsty (new to me) chairs. Because they were a bit weathered, they drank up the oil. After the first coat, the chairs looked great but once it soaked in and dried, it was clear that some parts were more thirsty than others so I added anouther coat. I suggest you leave the oil on for longer than 5 minutes. Let the oil soak into the wood before using a cloth to rub in, and remove excess, oil. First photo is the cleaned teak chair before thefirst coat of teak oil. The second picture is after the chairs and table all got 2 coats of oil (probably needs a third too). Overall great product, easy to apply and amazing results.

I used the product for a teak dining room table. The table had faded seriously over many years, but the table leaves have been protected and are not faded. With much effort and patience, multiple applications of the teak oil followed by rubbing, I have been able to bring the brilliance of the teak back so that the fully extended table looks beautiful again, and the leaves are a very close match. The feel of the wood is excellent, not oily or sticky, and I am very pleased with the result. I have used it on our additional teak furniture too, and am pleased with the result. I will purchase again.

We’ve been using this oil on our outdoor teak furniture for 2 years and it is so easy to use, just wipe it on with a sponge brush and watch it soak in. Our furniture still looks new and one bottle takes care of two full coats (2 years).

Bought a pair of new teak chairs for my deck and wanted to make sure to protect them as bas as possible. After reading reviews of some other products with a sticky consistency, decided to give Starbrite a try.Product applies very easily with a nylon paint brush and absorbs quickly. After 5 to 10 minutes to let each section soak in, a quick wipe down with a clean cloth was all that was needed. Finished in about 30 minutes for one large chair and the results were beautiful! Let set overnight and the chair is ready for use.Great Product!.

This is true teak OIL, NOT varnish. I’ve made the mistake of purchasing products claiming to be teak oil when they have some sort of varnish in them, which I don’t like. Beautiful results

Works amazingly!! Easy to use and all the positive reviews are correct. It doesn’t smell too bad. Just need to let it dry.
