Smart Minds Wood Sudoku Board

I bought this for my dad for christmas after spending many long nights researching the best rated sudoku wooden board game. I was relatively disappointed. The game looks and feels cheap. The number pieces don't stay in the organization slots as the dividers that are suppose to hold everything in place are very low. So all of the pieces in storage just fall everywhere. The wood grain is not smooth and is quite rough. I was very excited about this product but was very disappointed.

she loved it and can play the game or use it as a coffee table display (well, then guests can try their hand too). I like the look and it is a quality sudoku set

Our son hasn't said yet if he likes it. He probably will since he likes these puzzles. It was for his Christmas.

My father owns and daily enjoys this board from Smart Minds Pros: - Has a removable grid to put included puzzles under the grid. - With some trials and errors, it's possible to print many more puzzles downloaded from Internet - Much better sudoku board than any other wooden board we've tried (more than just a few). - Good depth of the packets on both sides of the board, unlike other similar sets. - Mini (thinking, choice) tiles are great integral part of the set! Four of them fit perfectly to one square, and used on a higher difficulty levels (*** hard, **** very hard). - Wood (vs plastic) feels natural in hands. Cons: - Lack of mini tiles. There are 81 in the set. Believe or not, some higher level puzzles require significantly more than that. Unless you're a genius, eventually you will probably end up buying another set just in order to add more mini tiles, since you can't buy them separately anywhere. - Removable greed gets deformed over time, so you may find helpful to use some double-sided adhesive tape in the corners to keep it flat.
