Atom LongboardsAtom Pintail Longboard - 39", Woody

This is a great beginner board that will do what you need to do to get from A to B. I bought it in order to get around faster on campus and it works great for that. I weigh around 170 and it supports me fine. Also the wood is good quality, as when I was learning it i lost control of it and it slammed into the corner of a door frame. For other less expensive boards this would have sent a crack right through it, but no, it just has a ding and a very small crack in one of the ply's of wood.(really nothing to worry about) Since then I have gotten much better and have taken it down some medium hills with ease. The wheels are smallish but they work very well till you can get larger ones. I recommend the oil and the bearings because even though these bearings work, the redz work 100x better. Overall I was skeptical when I bought it as this is a very cheap price for what seems to be a good longboard, But now i ride it everyday to get to class or just to have some fun and it works better than I would have ever expected. DEF WORTH THE MONEY!!!!--Lastly: the graphic is painted on and is not some cheap sticker.

My longboard came in two days with standard shipping. I was very excited because this is a very cheap board but it came with very good deck,wheels,trucks,and bearings. Usually long board shops give you standard Abec 3 bearings but this board came with Abec 5. I was surprised by this. All the parts are amazing but you can upgrade them even better. I prefer red bones bearings. I bought the bearings and the wheels spin twice as fast. I love the design on the back but it can damage if you grind. The wood is soft because you can easily make dents in it. i tried it in the rain and it still works great. You should loosen trucks to carve and tighten them on flat grounds. There is no wheel bite even i loosened alot. When you hit a tight turn you to get some wheel bite so I carved mine out. This is a great first longboard for beginners. This board is 10 by 39 which makes it good for carving and going down hills fast. The board's grip tape is nice and strong. Its been 4 months and The grip is still in awesome shape. You totally control the board and even more. The wheels that it comes with are just like the picture and it doesn't slide well. After I got my orangatang stimulus 70mm 86a wheels, they slide like glass. It is hard to do some manuals but this board still is amazing. BUY THIS BOARD NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey ...So I bought this board a few days ago, it's my first longboard ever. I never got the hang to skateboards, but I'm a blue-black trail snowboarder and I also do like 7 feet wave surfing in Mexico since I was 14. So that helps to get the hang to this. I love it, it is like snowboarding on pavement. Definitely will keep doing it for a long time. The product is good, design is really nice, it is the best you can get for the price you won't regret it if you're starting to longboard... However like most posts say I can tell I will have to change the wheels and maybe the bearings as well (they won't roll for more than 3 or 4 seconds). To change that it's like $40 just to get mid-level wheels (Satori: Cali Orange 72mm 78a) and bearings... There is no way you will feel comfortable with the ones it comes, so you'll end up realizing that this is a $130ish board that comes with a spare crappy wheels.If I still had the choice to buy it again I would probably buy it, just because I didn't know I was gonna love longboarding so much.

Good for cruising. Steady and easy to ride for beginners. Definitely a perfect choice as a first board.Everything is good except for the bearings. One of the bearings fails after riding it for only a week. I bought another bearing from Amazon, but I sadly found that I cannot remove the original bearings from the wheels. I dont know why. Another problem is the size of the wheels. 65mm wheels are a bit too small for longboards but I am worried if bigger ones will cause wheel bite or not.So anybody could tell me if I replace the wheels with 70mm or 78mm, will the wheels bite the deck?Update one year later: This one year experience is excellent with this board. Nothing wrong and this still rides like new, except the appearance getting old. I got wheel bite once and that's really hurts. So think twice before making sharp turns and don't change to bigger wheels.TIP to prospective buyers: buy this board when the price is under 70. The price varies a lot so watch it closely. Don't rush.

This longboard is amazing i would definitly recomend this board to beggingers (or) PROS! I recently got this longboard, about three days ago and its amazing wheels are great! Brushing are alright but good enough for anybody just starting, the decal on the back is good too! Its not some cheap sticker you can buy for ten cents. Get this board if you are not looking for somthing expensive like a Honey Board, If you dont know what that is look up Honey Longboards on amazon they are very expensive. Please atleast think about getting this longboard, you will be suprised by how good it is for the price.and correction for the other complaints everybody is saying it gets cracks, gets airbubbles in griptape, and bad brushings. My suggestion is too please read instructions look where it says (Tips) it tells you not too leave it in humid wheather while not being ridding because of stress cracks and if you care about the brushings, clean or get new ones, and for the grip tape I believe that is because of humidity also I have had no problems with the board by going by the instructions.
