Husband still wears it THREE YRS LATER, had to buy it again!
TLDR: beautiful watch! Very easy to read, always accurate never had to fix the time, did have to adjust the length of the strap which wasn’t exactly easy but still doable, unsure of max water resistance but washing hands & dishes has no affect. Perfect watch to add a touch of sophistication and REALLY up a mans self esteem. This is actually my second time buying this watch lol. I first bought this watch a couple years back as a birthday or anniversary gift for my then boyfriend. He loves it SO much that he (as my now HUSBAND) still wears it EVERYDAY even after the battery went out LOL! Idr exactly when the battery went out but it still lasted WAAAAY way longer than I expected it would, and tho it’s technically cheaper just to replace the battery we never have to time to go to a jeweler to get it done. It really is a beautiful watch and he was so set on the look of it he wouldn’t even let me buy him a different watch XD. So when our first WEDDING anniversary came along I had to go waaay back in my amazon purchase history to find the EXACT same watch which he was SO EXCITED to receive... AGAIN LOL.It’s simple but still sophisticated, he gets so many compliments at work and everyone who asks thinks it’s some extravagant expensive watch (he sometimes fears if customers who eye the watch will try to jump him for it after work lol). I don’t even know what the full extent of its water resistance is cuz he REFUSES to wear it in the shower or at the pool, regardless of the fact that it should have resistance up to 30m(what is that like 100ft give or take?) he DOES NOT WANT to even get WATERSTAINS on this watch.Seriously, he went from wearing cheap plastic band digital watches that would break after six months to a year, that he was never attached to, to wearing the EXACT SAME WATCH for maybe three or four years regardless whether or not it was actually working lol. To each their own, but THIS is my husbands IDEAL WATCH.THE LITERAL ONLY DOWNSIDE OF THIS WATCH, was how FRUSTRATING it was for me to adjust the length of the band for him, it’s doesn't come with a tool to pop out the extra chain links so I had to improvise with a thin bead filer and a mallet to get the little bars out holding the links together. Once it’s done tho you never have to do it again (unless you’re lazy like me and just buy a whole new watch instead of replacing the battery lol).

This one has a design that I particularly like so I thought I should try it since there ...
I have several wrist watches. This one has a design that I particularly like so I thought I should try it since there is practically nothing to lose at $15.00. It looks great and has a chain-link bracelet that would cost more than $15 if made in the US. I read some of the negative reviews and many of them complain that there was no way to adjust the links. This is simply not true. All such watches come with all the links in and you adjust the length by removing them until it fits. The problem is if the watch is too small on your wrist when you get it - then you can't do anything. The links can be removed using an inexpensive tool that I purchased from Amazon (about $6.00). You can take it in to a jeweler to do this but it would cost about the same as the price of the watch - so, not worth it. I have been wearing it every day for a week now, and no problems. I also would not consider it "waterproof". Many of my watches are, but once the battery has to be replaced, the waterproof guarantee is gone unless you do it at an authorized dealer - all that is costly. For this watch, I think it would be sufficient if some rain, or water getting on it when washing hands does not damage the watch. You can wear it everyday, not worry about it getting damaged. I think another big issue will arise when the battery needs changing. Again, if you take it in, it will cost you more than the price of the watch, so you have to learn to do it yourself. For $15.00 it is a great watch. I think Skmei has made nice watches at the prices the Chinese working people are prepared to pay - that they are charging us the same price is great. There are some real artists at Skmei and they are making beautiful watches.

Not adjustable
Way too big for son's wrist, and he is an adult. No way to take a link out to make it smaller, so I advise measuring your wrist and going by whatever size charts are available. My son is tall & thin, but has a medium(boned)frame, so I thought it would fit.

A review after owning this for 2 years
Was looking for a watch band, and found this watch for just a few dollars more.Bought it based on the looks - it looks as good as the picture. Very sharp watch. There were no instructions, so adjusting the watch band became a bit of a challenge. Hint: you follow the arrows on the band and drive out the pins to remove a link. A little work, but well worth the results. So here I am, almost 2 years exactly from when I bought the watch. It continues to look good and keeps excellent time. But I noticed that the hands were just sitting there twitching. Time for a new battery, which I bought. I went to unscrew the back cover vlike I have done on many watches over the years. Usually I just use needle nose pliers to loosen the back, but I could not get that to work.So I bought a watch back removal wrench. After a solid hour of scratching up the watch and chewing up my fingers I had managed to get the cover to turn a half rotation. But it still would not loosen, something that has never happened to me on this style watch before. It won't come off.I can only guess that when they put the back on at the factory that they cross threaded it, and now the watch is ruined. Too bad, I wanted to keep that watch running, but it ain't gonna happen.
