I'm quite happy with this teapot
What was I looking for?- not glass (figured it'd show discoloration and need more cleaning)- small (just for me)- good quality- removable tea bin- top that wouldn't fall off when you pour the teaThings I realized I after starting to research teapots- a long-neck spout. I realized the tiny, barely-spouts are just hard to work around, often drip, and you end up clanking the teapot into your mug- a simple, modern look (no old-school look)Now I have the pot. Here's the review...Features I didn't expect but love- the measurements on the side. *super* useful so I can pour hot water in, only as much will fit in my mug (and now I know exactly how big my mug is :) )- The no-drip tip on this one is *tiny*; I wasn't sure about that at first, but it works *really* well.- The removable tea bin and cover are 304 steel. At first, they feel weird because they're *so light* they feel "cheap", but once I saw they were 304 steel, that made sense, and now I like that I don't have this unnecessarily clunky teapot.- This is the delightful super-bonus. At the top of this review I said I didn't want glass. Obviously I compromised on that, but I've gotta say, I *watch* the tea pour out of this teapot every time I pour. The tea is more concentrated (darker) around the tea bin, so when you pour, you get this amazing mixing and flowing of different shades of tea. Quite an unexpected bonus :)Cons (only 2 *very* minor ones)- I'm super pick about handle shape. The handle on this has an rounded outer surface, but the inner surface is not rounded, which I don't quite like the feel of. very minor thing, but I like handles to be comfortable in the hand.- The metal top/receiver for the lid doesn't have any kind of air vent in it. Consequence is that condensation from the steam will *remain* in the pot. I don't like this because water + air + bacteria = lots of bacteria. But simple solution: pop the top out just enough to let it vent.

Very Happy
I love this teapot. I usually boil water in it. It heats well and quickly at medium heat. It stays warm a long while after being removed from a heat source. It's easy to clean and dissasemble. I've used the diffuser in a jar with hot cooling water and that worked well. Only downside is you need a pot holder or something similar to hold/touch the handle as it gets very hot. I would buy again.

Cleaning
I like this glass kettle. I use it almost every night but I wouldn’t recommend it because it’s hard to clean the part where you pour. I had to use thin brush I use to clean out my straws. Luckily the brush is bendable!

I've become very fond of this little teapot
I've been looking for a convenient way to brew loose tea for several years. The little tea ball I'd been using just wasn't very handy if I needed more than one cup of tea. The strainer in this tea pot is easier to fill, empty, and clean. While the pot is made of heat-safe glass (good choice!) and you can use it to heat water, I wouldn't try to boil in it. With the spout attached low on the body, boiling will force hot water out of the spout causing a scalding hazard. That goes for any pot with a low spout, not just this one. Besides, most tea is better if it's steeped at a lower temperature than boiling. My only wish for this teapot is that I'd gotten a small bottle brush with it to clean the spout. The clear glass is pretty when it's full of tea, but when it's empty it's easy to see that it needs to be washed. The interior is easy to clean with a cloth or sponge but the spout is just a little too narrow. :-)

Perfect for me
I use this to boil water for coffee every day. Love the markings on the side as I use exactly 550ml of water for coffee. The flip up top is great and the pour spout works perfect as I need to be a bit exacting when I pour. Nothing I don't like about the pot, does it all.

Teapot Treasure!
This little teapot is the perfect treasure. The accompanying tiny cups with saucers are perfect for morning, afternoon, or evening tea. Although I purchased it for my use, this would also make a great gift item.

Cute tea set
First off, the cups: they're super cute, but not entirely practical. They're just too small to be worth using, but they are too adorable to be upset with. Maybe I'll find an excuse to use them someday, but it doesn't matter much since I mainly bought this for the teapot. The teapot itself it very nice. The spout pours well, without making a mess. The glass seems to handle high temperatures well, and the steeper that came with it works well, and is easy to clean. Being able to see the tea in the pot is a big plus.

Brilliant multi use tea pot
We don't use the defuser as we use tea bags or Jasmine flower buds etc . I don't often buy loose herbal tea . Although I did bring the best loose Jasmine tea back from Thailand years ago and used a old tea strainer !!!I use it with a tea light tea warmer .( Used with a 7 to 8 hour tea light means we've got hot , not stewed tea for most of the day . It's brilliant and less than £10)The teapot is probably one of the best I've bought . The lid pops out for easy cleaning , I use a bottle brush to clean the spout of which is a really lovely pourer. A bonus was a tin of ten buds in the box with the teapot . These aren't cheap but they look gorgeous opening out into beautiful flowers .I'd very highly recommend this teapot . People think your stupid buying a glass teapot . Yes if you drop it from a height it probably would break . (But , we've wasted money on 3 stainless steel ones . They leaked , they stain inside ( some people like this , I don't !! ) Bits break off and go in my tea , they often don't pour well and the lid is ill fitting ) This one does non of these . It is the best ive ever had and if I accidentally break itI'll just buy another . Infact I'm tempted to buy another just for my buds or herbal tea.

As Advertised
I hunted high and low before picking this teapot. I am surprised that it is as advertised. I brewed my tea and forgot about it, so had to warm it up on the fire. It boiled and the handle was cool to touch.I have had this teapot since July, and am pleased to say it does what it says on the box.I would recommend it to friends and family.
