Prior to purchasing the transfer board, I had to use a gait belt to help my husband stand to transfer. It was b back-breaking. Now he can scoot on the board by himself after I help place it. I love the curved style as it can be used both ways. Don't know why no one suggested this to me. I remembered my early nursing days and thought "why not try it". I love it. My husband doesn't have to work to stand not; he just scoots!!!

This curved board is much easier than her old straight board for my daughter to use while transferring to and from the car in her wheelchair. She likes the stability it offers.

We found this curved board much better than a straight one for getting from a wheel chair into bed. My wife is able to scoot along the curve and end up in a better spot than trying to stand and turn.

Loved how smooth board is; makes for easier transitions. We use spray furniture polish (not oil!) and dry cloth every day to keep like new. Works like a charm!

I had to return this. it was almost an inch thick and made up of multiple pieces of wood glued together. Low quality and weighs too much to be conveniently used.

my sister used these boards so i got one for my husband and im very happy with it
