SAMSOX 2-Pair Merino Wool Running Socks, Made in USA Cushioned Athletic Socks for Men & Women (Charleston Low-Cut)

I like these socks. They are pretty thick but comfortable. The one issue I have is the size small is labeled for Womens' sizes 4-6.5. I'm 6.5 and they are slightly large, particularly for a 'stretchy' sock. Anyone with feet smaller than Womens' 6.5 probably shouldn't get these.

I run quite a few miles per week so a good sock plays an important role in my exercise routine. I like that these socks were super comfortable, nice and thick but not too thick, kept my feet odor free and dry, and one of the most important things, they did not fall/slide down my heel. At first, I only wished they had a little more compression to them but not anymore. I’ve worn them so many times now and they’re great. I also wore them on a non-exercise day as well. I wore them with my mid-high Vans sk8 sneakers, standing straight for 6.5 hours in high 80 degree weather and my feet were so happy with these socks! They weren’t too warm and my feet were dry! They were absolutely perfect with them. I wear a women’s size 8 in shoes and purchased these socks in a s/m and they fit well. These are totally my go to socks. I’ve run in them in 100 degree weather too and my feet were just as comfy as if it were low temperatures! A tip is to also wash them inside out since they are wool!

These have held up to multiple washes. Worn in wet shoes while riding in the woods and kept me mostly comfortable.

I think this is the 4th time I bought these socks. It feels tight and have good support.

My wife and I love these socks, I had to buy more because I originally bought them for myself, but my wife keeps wearing them! They are very high quality and super comfortable. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for low cut, hiking, workout, or everyday socks. They made with a high percentage of Merino wool which wicks moisture and don't make my feet hot even on the hottest of summer days. I love that they are made in the USA. Very cushy and felt great but in half a day both socks were showing wear. Not a sturdy knit!* I'm updating this review below and may update again. I was contacted by Samsox 2 months ago and they sent me some new pairs of socks to try out. I've been wearing them for a while and trying to create an honest review. I have a mixed report below.1. Socks still are a very comfortable fit, better than average. 5 stars if comfort is really important to you, I do recommend these.2. A couple of the below the ankle socks tend to struggle to stay on my right foot going up steep hills. This problem is hit and miss. That issue is really annoying and ranks 1 stars. However the 3/4 hiking stocks do not have that trouble and are awesome, and rank more like 5 stars. So overall for slippage risk I rate 2.5 stars, some of this depends on what you style buy.3. Wear is still an issue to me, these socks threads are not as tough of some when I compare. The new pairs I received are wearing better than the previous purchase but still not as sturdy as some similar brands - 3 stars4. I was really impressed with the customer service, they have not been pushy about me changing my review and they were generous with their product. I would rate their customer care 5 plus stars. I've done a lot of amazon shopping and these folks seem legit. On that basis alone I would be more inclined to buy again.For now, I'm going to up my rating to 3.5 stars from 2. I'm still going to pay attention to how these socks play out. I love the customer service and hope I can move my review higher compared to other brands I use.
