Update - Have ordered these 5 times now (one as a gift). Each time the quality and shipping speed has been consistently excellent. The meat comes meticulously packaged and frozen solid - I live on the East coast. That kind of quality and consistency doesn’t come cheap. The steaks are always super delicious. My brother and I compared to his favorite local store bought ribeyes and it was not even close in tenderness or taste - these are the best. Please keep up the excellent work Nebraska Star.I am bumping up my rating from 4-stars to 5-stars.Original review July 12, 2020 - Shipped and delivered very fast. Received frozen solid - very impressed with packaging and shipping speed. Meat is flavorful and good. Kind of expensive though - but I paid to ensure I had good steaks through summer.

Excellent flavor, really fresh top grade beef. It’s so rich with the marbled fat, you can actually feel the difference on your hands when rinsing it under water. I’m not accustomed to such high grade meat. Due to high price (worth it, get what you pay for) I eat it on special occasions.

I wanted to try the best steak experience I love steak I always cook it at home, So I decided to cook steaks for the whole family, Amazon suggested Nebraska's steaks, the marbling and thick cut were AMAZING! The Steak was very juicy and tender it wasn't melt in your mouth but 1-3 chews and its gone so its tender, very beefy I couldn't taste that FUNKY Taste that people talk about dry aged beef, but it was really beefy way more than what my grocery shop would have. Is it worth the price? Yes! go to your average steak house that has decent marbling or more like these steaks have Those steak house prices for a ribeye can easily cost up to 50-200$ DEPENDING ON THE PLACE!! Worth the 260$ For Ten big thick cut steaks

Finest American beef I've tasted. I'd put it up there with Irish beef. It is nicely marbled, has good texture and the flavor was ... well beef ... all beef. Not as beefy as an older beeve but, very good.It was shipped to Alaska frozen and arrived frozen.Addendum: I should add that I eat my steaks "cold" in the center, Black and blue if you will. I've now gone through three orders (30 rib eyes), shared a couple with friends, and cannot report any negatives. They've all been nicely aged, tender (not overly so, not a fan of Kobe style, soft steaks.), and flavorful. New Years dinner for the kids will be one of their standing rib roasts.

None of these steaks had the look or feel of any of their other products I've used, and the packaging was different as well, and I don't know if that had anything do do with anything, other products had a lot code, these had a UPC bar code.Usually, when you remove the steaks from the packaging, you get a red steak, each has a soft, almost silky feel while handling the raw steak, but none of these steaks had that.I've really enjoyed their filet steaks, and (mostly) their 7 oz sirloins, but since the 7 oz was a bit small for us, I didn't think twice about ordering these 10 oz. These are not as thick as the 7 oz with these 10 oz steaks being about 1 inch thick. Upon removing the steak from the packaging, the feel and texture is different, even though cooking to medium, were tough. I finally just started cutting into strips and pan saute for just a minute or so, it helped but not by much. Finally, I had to start using meat tenderizer and slow cooking in a crock pot. Considering the price of these for each steak, I can purchase several pounds of rump roast from the supermarket for a Sunday roast.Sorry, but I cannot recommend these.

Got them for my son for his birthday and he absolutely loved the gift. We ordered the original seasoning and it was delicious. These stakes are much better than our locally store bought ones. Worth every penny!
