PLEASE BE KIND TO YOURSELF. . . BUY AND READ THIS WONDERFUL BOOK TODAY
I nearly passed by this wonderful book, but was so intrigued by the title I bought it on impulse and found it to be one of those rare books that I had to read straight through in one sitting.t In brief, its CharlotteEriksson's account of her 8 years of wander through Western Europe trying to find her own heart and self after her devastating rejection by the boyfriend she loved with all her heart and soul. She is a wondrously brave, beautiful, and talented artist. I, however, am a dying old man with a shortenough future that I no longer bother to check the expiration dates on anything in my grocery store's dairy case. But Charlotte Eriksson's beautiful prose and poetry helped me to better live. and accept each remaining day. Thank you so very much !

This book is really real, and really good.
This is one of the best books I have ever read. I devoured it, because you have to. I read it slowly yet not at all, as it was intended. This book makes you feel things. It makes you think. And it makes you wonder. About the circumstances of your life and the commonality of the thoughts in your mind. It makes you feel 164 pages of "a little less lonely." The book feels like it's breathing, and talking only to you. It is the first of Eriksson's books that I have read but it won't be the last.

A story that I deeply resonated with
While the author may have just wrote this story because it was her story and it was what relevant to her, I saw myself in her words and really connected to it. It was very well written and deeply emotional in a way that I was not expecting. If anyone has doubted that there is a place for them in the world, if there are people out there for them, if they are meant to be lonely lonely just drift through the world then this is a book for you. While this a story specific to the author, I truly believe that anyone can find a bit of the story that they connect to. The author managed to say the words that I could never bring myself to and she did it in such a beautiful way.

Words from heartache and loneliness that can truly make you feel less alone.
A mix of assorted poetry and prose, together with a through line that tells a story of growing and acceptance. Like her other works, the poems and essays in this book touch on so many aspects of heartache, whether it's romantic or simply belonging, and they do so with care and clarity.Alongside its companion album 'Feeling Everything, Holding Onto Nothing', this book continues to showcase the author's uncanny ability to make me feel less alone in the world. Charlotte's journey and storytelling are a great source of personal motivation and inspiration for me and I can't recommend her work more highly.

Beautiful book!
There was so many things written in this book that I feel like the author was writing to me about, I’ve definitely been in these situations before. It’s always nice to read when another person can put into words exactly what you are feeling or have felt before. I can’t wait to read more books by this author!!

Pure thoughts&words
'What's coming is always better than what has been' - is the main message of this book. One day I stumbled over this author on Facebook. The glass child. Charlotte Erikkson. I read snippets of her writings online and they were so different. So finally I bought this one as my first book from her. I don't know anything about her CV, but I realised, it's not important. Her words is enough for me.This book really touched me. I found myself in her lines and between. Pure thoughts and words, not written down for fame, but to share them with the world and souls from the same tribe. Someday I would love to meet her, behind my glass or hers. Looking at and talking about the both worlds, in front of and behind the glass. Highly recommented to those who like deep thoughts and conversations. Thank you for sharing, Charlotte, and your encouragement.
