These towels are wonderful! I have purchased several of these Wise Owl towels in various colors and sizes. My original purchase was for 6 of the largest size towels for my family to pack for our trip to Italy. They folded or rolled up to a compact size to stash in our luggage, and they dried quickly so we were able to use them and pack them up again to continue our journey without them getting musty or making our clothes damp. I have since purchased several more of the 20x48 size as they are the perfect hair towel to wrap my hair up after a shower and not cause added frizz! Thank you Wise Owl for making a good product at a very reasonable price!

I picked this up for overnight backpacking and hiking with my dog. I was looking for a lightweight towel that could be an insulating layer for her at night if the weather was dry. I got the large size and and would 100% get it again. It's super absorbent, packs very easily, and feels a bit heavier and warmer than it actually is. It's now something that stays in my day pack for everyday use.

We always have so much to take to the cabin. Towels take up a lot of room. I was skeptical about how I would like these. The washcloth is hand towel size so a little awkward to use. But the towel is big enough to wrap around me, dries me well and dries fast after. Small enough I take 2 sets and it takes up less room than 1 regular towel would.

This is our second Wise Owl towel set. When the first set arrived, I felt certain that they would be woefully inadequate as they're so thin, but no, they're great. It's not the same soothing tactile experience as using our regular plush bath towels at home by any stretch of the imagination, but they solve a lot of problems for us in our travels. They fold up into a small package. They dry well and do a decent job even on long, wet hair. They're easy to wash and dry even without a washer/dryer. The many colors help us keep track of ownership. The tabs are useful. I recommend these towels highly for travelers.

I love these towels I've bought a few of them. They dry super quick and they have a loop on one corner to hang to dry. The edge is sewn so it doesn't Frey apart. The only thing I wish was better was how fast it absorbs liquids. When you initially start using to dry yourself off it you start moving the water first rather then absorb it but once it starts absorbing its good.

For the price, I'm comfortable to "more or less" recommend these - but if you find a similar product by another brand for even slightly cheaper, I'd try that first (at least until Wise Owl's manufacturing/quality control takes a turn for the better).I ordered several of these for a recent camping trip, and we put them through their paces. They basically work they way they should, though I would be very surprised if they survive more than a few trips in total. With microfiber cloth you can really only have at most 2 of the 3 qualities that you need in a camp towel (light weight, durable, absorbent), and the cloth density in these manages to strike a pretty decent compromise—with durability clearly being the lowest priority—that proved comfortable enough to both use and carry.I still came very close to returning them all due to the generally-suspect stitching, but because I take such good care of my gear I figure maybe I can still more or less get my money's worth out of them before they fall apart. (When they do, I'll update this review).My complaints are:- Inconsistent size. None of the towels are the same size (up to a 0.5" variance between individual towels), all of them were at least slightly under their advertised size of 30" x 60", and one of the towels was a full 1 inch smaller in both dimensions. (That may not seem like a lot - but it's a 5% difference in total material quantity, which is far from negligible). If there's going to be a margin of error, it should always be OVER the advertised size - *never* under.- Poor stitching. The stitching on all of the towels ranges from "okay" to "I can clearly see where they screwed this up and tried to fix it... several times." Some seams that failed to line up where they were supposed to are simply glued together with fabric adhesive (which at least seems waterproof). Others are folded over each other awkwardly and over-stitched to the point of stiffness to prevent them from coming apart.- Not lint-free. At least some of the fibers on all of these towels had detached and matted into small clumps after the first or second use, forming what was basically like super-fine laundry lint (which was initially what I thought it might be, until I thoroughly washed them again by hand and then took a closer look). It comes off easily enough with a comb or lint rake, but this means that the towels are essentially slowly disintegrating. After a few more uses, I wouldn't be surprised to find visible wear spots beginning to form shallow holes (that's if the stitching doesn't fall apart first).In short, quality control on Wise Owl products seems to be going downhill of late; unfortunately, this is not the first batch of their products about which I've had similar thoughts in recent months. Hopefully they will eventually resolve whatever manufacturing trouble is causing these issues.If anyone from Wise Owl sees this review - look into the manufacturer and/or manufacturing process for Otis gun cleaning microfiber cloths; they are thinner, lighter, more absorbent, and FAR more durable than these towels of yours. If you folks can get these up to THAT standard, it would be a game-changer.

This is the first time I've used a towel of this type and while it does absorb a lot of water and gets me dry in with the same amount of effort as with a regular, full-size towel, it does feel a bit weird to dry off with something completely smooth, and it also makes it a little harder to grip at times. If this had a slight texture to it, it would be perfect.

This towel is brilliant. It is very absorbent, dries quickly, is compact and comes in a carrying case. Just bought another one.

Good quality at a reasonable price

Arrived packaged nicely. Lovely colour.Still haven’t used it yet as it’s for when we are boating. Sure it will do exactly what we hope for , to avoid having bulky wet towels hanging around.

The Wise Owl Towel set is top quality. Absorbing more water than any ordinary towel and taking up little to no space!Perfect for traveling. I had a slight problem but the Wise Owel Team helped me out massively.
