works, cheaper, easy to use, strong
Yes get this brand. Cheap, the double bubble type is worthless, this is super strong, very easy to handle. Radiant barrier was installed under rafter (below foamboard), and above the floor joists, over the 3.5" pink fiberglass stuff. Along with 4 solar attic fans, we are probably only a few degrees above the outside temperature. 100 degree attic is way better than 140° attic. Super easy. do it.

Works very well for retaining heat!
Works great for keeping heat in. Easy to use for the most part, be careful around sharp things because you could rip it. Could be a little thicker too, but for the price it's great.

Tough stuff for the money
Good quality and thick material. Staples without tearing and seems pretty tough.

This stuff is awesome! Make a jig for easy install!
I saw a decent amount of people say it's hard to install, leading to negative reviews, however this radiant barrier material works well in Texas!I created a bracket with a $5 wooden dowel 1"x60", two scrap pieces of 2x4 with a hole drilled out, and 4 screws. Screw the jig into a 2x4 rafter and pull it all the way across, attach the top all the way across(I made marks at 46" intervals to allow 2" overlap), let gravity assist you on the bottom, and cut off the roll when the run is finished. It made the install simple! God bless and I wish the best for your installs!

Will put under every roof I replace again!
Used this under our metal roof for our chicken coop/ shed. I can not rave enough about how cool the chicken coop has become after using it. The coop has no electric and I didn’t have to open the windows at all. The coop sitting in the sun at 90 degrees is comparable to sitting in the shade in the woods in the middle of summer. We don’t have crazy heat in Southwest PA but it does get in the high 90s sometimes in direct sunlight.I will put this under any metal roofs I ever replace. So worth it!!!

Very Strong, Looks so good exposed
I lined the ceiling of my garage with this very bright shiny foil. I stapled it to the beams that had 24 inch spacing. This product is not billed as an insulation but it does. I did it for the looks but it sure does provide insulation. I had insulated, paneled, and painted my garage walls but the open beamed ceiling looked unfinished. To drywall or panel and paint would be too much work. After stapling it to the beams I taped the seams with 3-M foil tape. The other benefit is the light due to reflection is great. I think I could work in the garage by the light of one candle. The foil has built in threads of nylon in it which gives it unbelievable strength so it it must be lined up perfect before stapling or it will show waves.

This stuff should be mandatory
It really should be. I've done one room in my barn with this. And its amazing. Keeps the room cool in summer amd warm in winter with very little cost to heat and cool. You'd think that it wouldn't be possible to heat a room in a barn to 65 degrees in below zero weather, and still have your heater cycle off, but it does just that. This should be code on all new construction to reduce heating and cooling costs.
