Inflates Fast!
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to test this airbag out first before trusting it completely as it's not a name brand. I am impressed with how well it inflates and stays inflated. It did not come with instructions even though the listing said it would. It did not come with CO2 cartridge but that's no issue because that was stated in the listing. I did have an issue with the seam on the inflator front. It began ripping after just using once. I was able to redo the seam with a stronger sew pattern, I'm honestly fine with it because of how cheap the vest was. I care about safety and budget. Re-arming the vest is pretty easy. There is a 6 pointed nut on the bottom of the inflator assembly under a rubber cap. Unscrew almost all the way and the spring can be moved down to put the pull cord back. Re tighten the nut all the way until it bottoms out. Put a new CO2 cartridge, and its done!

Order the size you normally would - great customer service!
This vest looks like it should work really well because the cable and mechanism seems very sturdy. It's a very interesting concept, and it takes a good bit of pressure to pull out. You won't trigger it if you forget you're connected when you get off your bike.I thought this might be sized way too small like a lot of Chinese apparel, but it is not. It is true to size, because I initially ordered a 3XL thinking I would need extra size to fit over my jacket (I'm 6'-6" 230 and wear a 46XL jacket and I have a 38" waist). The 3XL swallowed me whole and was super big!Their customer service was great - I paid around $15 to ship the 3XL to a US address and upon receiving the tracking number they shipped an XL replacement. Takes a week and a half or so to receive the vest, but this XL is a great size for me.Some complain about the weak zipper, but don't yank it. Take it easy with it and it should be fine. The vest material seems very sturdy, and so does the plastic of the airbag inside.I hope I never have to employ it, but I think it's an excellent value, and I'm as thrifty as they come. Seller's response is prompt (about a half day or less, depending on the time), and I will have this vest on every time I ride.

****WARNING: THIS FAILED TO DEPLOY IN AN ACCIDENT!!!!****
****WARNING: THIS FAILED TO DEPLOY IN AN ACCIDENT!!!!****I was rear ended on my motorcycle while wearing this airbag vest. I had previously tested it to make sure that it worked, and it did.I got rear ended at around 30 miles per hour. The car then dragged me 10 feet before stopping. As soon as I got up, I saw that all of my gear did it's job except for one; this airbag vest. The tether properly disconnected during the crash, and the cartridge was full. Yet, it still failed to deploy.Because my OTHER gear properly did it's job, I don't have serious injuries. But it's not thanks to this awful, cheap vest.To top it all off, I contacted the seller about the issue, requesting a refund. He proceeded to not take any responsibility. Didn't apologize, nothing.DO NOT TRUST YOUR LIFE WITH THIS. SPEND THE ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR A BRAND NAME AIRBAG VEST!!!

Bulky and restrictive
Despite the fact that it is a bit heavy and restrictive, I do not want to test it's effectiveness... but if it happens, I'll be glad I had it on.

Quality vest, untested but appears to have what it takes to help protect rider
I wasn’t expecting too much at this price, but I’m pretty impressed with the quality of this vest. The exterior cordura is thick and durable, the firing mechanism is beefy and appears to be solid.Lots of whining online about this not shipping with a gas cylinder, but I picked up what was needed at West Marine. Got the correct size and attachment style for ~$35.Interior inflatable bladder seems thick and is completely covered by the cordura exterior. Only suspect feature is that the zippers are very small and you need to be careful with them or I bet they won’t last. On the plus side, the zippers are only needed to replace the gas cylinder or to inspect the bladder, so they shouldn’t get much use.The back pad in the vest is frankly lame and is the same closed cell foam used inside many entry level motorcycle jackets and for cheap camping pads. Strangely, it’s housed in a mesh pocket, but the pad itself has no ventilation, so it’s not going to flow any air. I tossed mine and has a quality CE approved pad in my jacket instead.I’m 5-8 and 165lbs and the large is perfect for me worn over a leather jacket.Fingers crossed I never get to test this, but I feel pretty confident that it will provide some additional protection in some crash situations.

Good for SOMETHING
I read the reviews and shopped this pretty hard. My thought was that whichever factory is making these, there would likely not be a lot of money in doing them counterfeit or made so cheaply and badly as to be worthless, because there is no mystery to the construction. There are only three basic components: the vest, the inflatable bladders, and the inflator assembly. To my eye, the vest and inflator are manufactured quite well. I am 5'11, 215 lbs and usually wear an XXL jacket. I ordered this XXXL and it fits perfectly over a riding jacket. I don't think even kids should order less than XXL. I didn't expect a cartridge and didn't get one. I bought a 33 gram online for $13. It threaded on nicely to the apparently well-built inflator. I bought in bright yellow to wear in lieu of a safety vest. It has reflectors but could use more. Its more than sufficient as a visibility vest, which is why the title of the review. I have no idea how it will perform in an impact, but it feels much more high quality than I expected.. I'm not going to test inflate it, but the bladders look substantial and have zipper access to all of them. But for $145 complete, it fits well, seems built well., and arrived in less than a month. Ordered March 31, in-hand March 26. I'm giving it five stars and will revise if I have reason to.
