My husband ordered these for our wedding and they were really cool! The were slick, shiny, and comfortable to wear. I loved the purple! It isn't a cor or gradient you see often, which made it a wonderful stand out piece with his suit!

The shoe felt kind of tight and narrow for it to be a whole size too big. The remedy for that was to place shoe trees in the shoes for a couple of days. Sort of like breaking the shoes in without actually wearing them. It worked. The shoes fit better and are more comfortable. Because these shoes are faux eel skin and made from synthetic materials there is a real concern about the shoes cracking or creasing where the shoes naturally bend from walking in them. Creasing can make any shoe look ugly, old and worn before their time. This is especially true of synthetic materials for shoes. I took some necessary steps to lessen the severity of the material creasing, don't know how well it will work since I haven't worn them yet. For the record I am not into buy and wearing faux exotic skin shoes, but these appeared to be such good imitations it was worth the price to give the shoes a try. I brought two pairs. I surmise that's the saving grace for these sort of faux eel skin shoes -- the price. Just in case one's enthusiasm is short lived.:)

These are absolutely beautiful and perfect for the sportscoat and slacks I purchased. I'll probably buy another pair in a different color.
