This is my second purchase. The first one handle was kinda cheap but this one is made well.

Scary sharp... best carving knife I have ever used and super value for money
What can I say that is not said in the headline.. just hand wash and be careful you dont touch the blade side as so sharp it is like a razor. I have never cut through meats so easy, cleanly and as as thin as I want to make it, this blade will cut...

Does the job
Very sharp at first. Maybe I was just using wrong but definitely had a decrease in sharpness after the second uss. Carved a couple turkeys, maybe it was the bones? Overall good knife, though.

Great Value
I am not sure where the negative reviews about sharpness and holding an edge are coming from. This is a very nicely made knife. Sharp enough in the box (I have a sharpener - and it seems like if you are a serious user, that would be an investment you would make - EVERY knife will eventually dull, and every knife can benefit from a touch sharpen or hone from time to time, especially before (or after) a significant use. This knife is well balanced, plenty stiff along its back and slices very nicely. For a fraction of the cost of one of the big names, it is a great value.

Beautiful knife
The first decade I was married, my mother got me a new Henckel’s knife of my choice every Christmas. I have a custom set and use them all frequently. I never asked for this style of carving knife because I didn’t host holiday meals until 10 years ago. I am comfortable using a chef’s knife to carve a roast or turkey, but my brother in law has seemed to struggle (and he does the carving while I finish getting the food ready) so I ordered this knife. This knife is beautiful, and razor sharp. It is obviously not the knife for carving the meat off the turkey, but once he used my filleting knife to get the breast off the turkey, he switched to this an commented “wow…this is sharp”. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Spit Jack Brisket Knife Lives Up to it Reputation
My Spit Jack Knife is impressive-looking but more importantly, it is razor-like sharp, cuts cooked or raw meat easily, and hold its edge well. I sharpen all my knives between uses and know that each time it will last through the project, even recently slicing through an 8-pound top sirloin roast producing this, even slices. It has slight flexibility, a feature I like, and if is forged. This knife will last for many years.
