the first time you feel it snap onto your build surface you'll know ...
Absolutely *massive* upgrade from using binder clips to hold down your 3D printing build surface. Cheap, they arrive tomorrow, just order them now.the grinding sound of your nozzle trying to plow through a metal binder clip that extends into the print area is not something you want to hear 🤓. can i get a witness? these hold your surface down firmly and stay out of the way. They work great with the 4mm beveled glass I use.bonus: there are enough clips in the bag that most users should be able to cover every device they will ever own, with a big handful to spare.

Far Superior Clip
Like many people, I was using binder clips to secure my glass print bed to my 3D printer. They are large, which means the effective print area is much smaller, and also take up vertical space, meaning that my large fan duct would catch on the binder clips. These clips not only take up less print space, they also are lower profile, preventing the fan duct from interfering with the clips. Attaching the clips is very easy, and results in a secure bed that doesn't have any obtrusive clips hanging off the side.

They work and take up less space than binder clips
I use 8 on my sovol sv01 bed and I can flip on its side and the bed doesn't shift. Not true of binder clips. They take up way less bed space as well. I dunno how people think they are touchy, mine are quite frankly not easy to take off,not difficult, but it takes deliberate effort. Love em, gonna try another type with even smaller contact point... But I've got a whole lot of these.

Almost perfect for a 3D printer bed but can be made perfect with a pair of pliers.
I used these for a 3D printer glass bed. The edges are a little too sharp for me to consider myself comfortable for use on an aluminum PCB heated bed. However, with the use of some pliers to fold the bottom side clip over and some sandpaper to smooth the parts where the coating cracked from bending it’s absolutely perfect. Easy to install and remove and holds the glass perfectly in place with only 2, but I used three just in case. Would be 5 stars if they came with a protected or smoothed edge.

Good frame clip
Since most reviews seem to be focused on using these clips in 3D printers, I thought I'd provide a review on the clips used as intended. I used them to secure glass and a fiberboard backing to a drawing. There were plenty of clips in the package for this project and several others. The clips were solid, exactly as you would expect, and worked as intended. They have slots on the back that appear to act as hanging mounts, but I don't think I'd trust them with the weight of this piece. I'm sure they'd be fine for smaller or lighter items, like 5x7 or so.

NOT LIKE THE OLD CLIP KIND
Several of my framed photos (metal frames) needed new fasteners on the back. I looked up and down the Internet for the kind I used to use--I'll call them "alligator clips". All you had to do was pinch them, slide them into place, and they fit snugly. They are nowhere to be found. The only kind were these. There must be some trick to putting them on. I couldn't slide them down underneath the glass and backing. If I tried to put them on the backing before I set the backing into the frame, they didn't hold tight. Poor design. No, I wouldn't recommend them.
