This so-called Tibetan singing bowl (made in China) is simply a hoax. The bottom of the bowl is really round, it does not fit properly in the hand like the real Tibetan bowls. The sound, the note is not clear, and only has 7 seconds of sustain. And in addition, the seam of the cushion is already coming undone. How could I have believed that this bowl would happily expand my real collection of Tibetan bowls? Above all, don't waste your money!

There it is right from the box. The description states made in Tibet. Obviously made in China. Going back tomorrow. Just tell the truth in your description and this wouldn't have to happen.

I purchased two of these as Christmas gifts. They are beautiful small bowls with a big sound. I did not see any recommendations how to use these for meditation so will recount my practice. I place the bowl on the pad ring, open a meditative session with 3 raps of the mallet on the lip of the bowl, then gently rub the mallet around the outside of the bowl 9 times creating a strong resonant "singing" sound. I then close my eyes and create a mindful meditative state, aware of surroundings but not tied to then, aware of thoughts without judgement, focusing on feelings of calmness and peace. At the end of my meditation, I rap the bowl 3 times as a signal to return to my daily routine, taking peace with me.

This company is dishonest and their Tibetan Singing Bowel DOES NOT sing!!! When purchasing this product, I was informed that I had won a "free" product. After inquiring about the "free" product, I was then given instructions in order to acquire it, but was led down a rabbit hole. I was asked to post dishonest reviews and make false claims in order to make this company look good. I have a background in marketing and am fully aware of marketing tactics used in order to increase profit margins, but I also understand when these lines are crossed and the consumer becomes the victim of greed. No producer (company) should ever market one thing to a consumer and then renege. This is considered the old "Bait and Switch" and quite frankly false advertisement. Do not trust this company! They Do Not care about the consumer; only profit and gain. Due to their lack of integrity and honesty, I have decided to return the product and purchase from another seller on Amazon. By the way, the bowel DOES NOT sing! The wand provided is NOT suitable for making a resonating sound. Do not waste your money. The media could not be loaded.  Perfect singing bowl! We bought it to teach mindfulness to our 3 young boys! Now when there's fighting they will each take turns going to make the bowl sing and when they hear it sing everyone has to take a deep breath! Can't put a price on mindfulness! So glad we bought this!

The media could not be loaded.  This is an absolutely beautiful singing bowl, it sounds gorgeous (in the right hands, I'm not a professional but I tried to give anyone looking through the reviews a taste of what the bowl sounds like. If you thought that was even remotely pretty I promise it sounds even more amazing once you get the hang of it!) it's such a soothing sound and it really helps with focusing and getting into the right mindset for meditation--while meditation is the act of letting thought pass you by without judgement, it can be hard to get into the dedicated practice of meditating daily, so having certain things that tell you "okay, I did *this*, that means it's time to meditate", like lighting your favorite incense or candles, ringing the bowl, little cues like that can really help you start and keep the habit. It's overall very relaxing and useful in practice.
