Did some research before my purchase and they definitely come as advertised. My order came promptly and in great condition. I can't say how they taste, I'm just stocking my pantry at this point. Mine had a 2019 manufacturing date. I'm very pleased with that.

They come with 6 different menus. 2 of each. They also come with meal heaters, which I know many of us were unsure of. Really glad I chose to buy it.

I should had use faster shipping time frame, did not realize my box could ran that such a long time run. My box contents was not appearance looking as advertised, packages looks not same as listed but a lot like my families and friends sent me some interesting items based message letters; menus were mostly not as approximated listed. I missed some of my bread items and some beverage items, I was shocked that there was no edible fluids in packages, I tried some entrees figured this is rationed 1 serving canned food in a package, I was praying for at least 5 servings, I am a big eater, so far tried main entrees taste nice and made me wanted to learn to improve my personal American styled homemade cooking, seriously! Pretty nice ideas but I do think it was kind of costly compared with everyday grocery items, not bad for much longer shelf life, heater steaming up faster than I can think of, so I recommend a little bit more water for heating, probably one ratio more water, and do not get too close cautious it steams up so fast so hot and hot water is clean and hot if your water was filtered before pouring in.

Great for when the stuff hits the fan or when the trucks stop rolling

Generally I try to assume the best from people and companies, but it is clear to me that with the case I received, there was purposeful deception. I got my case of supposedly 2020 packed Blue Line MREs and decided to give one a try. I tried the pizza slice.The cheese was brown on the pizza. That was my first indication that something was wrong. Those new pizza slices have a tendency to turn brown over the course of their 3 year shelf life. This means that the pizza was not packed into its retort pouch in 2020. The orange flavored drink base was clearly older than 2020 as well.In addition , the FRH was the old style military type you would get in a military MRE, not the fancy looking one pictured.What I ordered were fresh civilian MREs. What I got were newly packaged surplus military MREs of questionable date. I also have a case of the 1300s. I sure hope I don’t find the same issue there. That’s would be very discouraging indeed.I have to suggest that you avoid this particular line of MREs. They are of poor quality.

Received today and according to the lot# they were packed oct 2019. I looked on the website for xmre and it said good thru 2029. Pleased they are this fresh.

Box came a week before expected.a little bit over priced but fresh and dated for 2020
