Looks Amazing But A Little Misleading
This trim kit looks fantastic on my F150. Shipping was pretty quick, and the product was well wrapped and protected for shipping. I bought my truck pre-owned and the previous owner had been side-swiped on the driver side. There was significant paint damage to the lower part of the panel all the way from the driver door to the rear wheel-well. I got quotes in the $500-$700 range just to repaint the driver side of my truck (not repairing any of the small dents), so I started looking for more cost-effective alternatives. Seeing some other F150s driving around with the 2-tone paint on the lower panel, I thought to myself, "I bet there are aftermarket chrome trim kits out there that would cover up the damage to my truck". So I got on Amazon and low and behold, there's this great product for a fraction of the cost of repainting the truck, and considerably less expensive than comparable kits from other brands/sellers (less than $175 for the kit and shipping).Installation was somewhat tricky, as I didn't have a helper to assist in holding the longer pieces in place as I meticulously applied them. Even so, I was able to affix them straight, even and square. Installation for the entire kit took about 45 minutes, though admittedly it would likely have taken significantly less time with a second set of hands. I have been installing aftermarket accessories for years and am pretty proficient at this kind of thing, so it came easily to me. If you are less...proficient at this kind of thing, find a buddy who is more proficient and don't risk screwing up your truck or the kit. If you're anything like me, you hate wasting money, and trying to install this kit without the proper ability to do so would be a really quick way to do just that.Ok. On to the rest of the review. The chrome looks absolutely fantastic! It is sharp and clean and highly polished, and the product seems pretty durable. The entire backing is 3M tape, so I have practically no concerns about how well it will remain adhered to the truck. Piece of advice though; MAKE SURE YOU "DRY FIT" EACH PIECE BEFORE REMOVING THE TAPE-BACKING, THAT WAY YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHERE TO PLACE THE TRIM FOR PROPER INSTALLATION! It is a solid, rigid piece of metal and, as I said before, the entire backing is covered in 3M tape - once it's stuck, you ain't getting it off without ruining that piece AND the paint on your truck! Do it right the first time. That being said, I do feel like I should point out a couple things that the description and stock photo aren't very clear on:= First, the trim length is not an exact fit. Each trim piece is about 1/8" to 1/4" shorter than the corresponding truck panel, leaving at least about a 1/16" - 1/8" space at both ends of each piece of trim. It doesn't fit "edge-to-edge" as you might expect. This has its pros and cons. The good is that it allows a tolerance for small fitment errors; if you had to line it up perfectly on each truck panel, you'd be at much higher risk for screwing up. However, the bad is that...well...it doesn't perfectly fit each panel.= Second, the 1/4" 45-degree bevel doesn't fit up into the horisontal groove which runs the length of your truck as you might expect. I know I expected it to...that's why I paid the little extra for the beveled kit. It still looks nice, but don't expect it to "split the groove" like I did. Now you know.= Finally, the trim DOES NOT wrap around the bottom edge of the truck. I expected the chrome to cover all the paint from the horizontal groove down, but it doesn't. If you line the top edge of the trim up with the bottom of the groove on your truck (which is the only way to make it look right), it leaves about a 2" high gap between the bottom edge of the trim and the bottom of the painted panels of your truck, leaving a strip of paint below the trim piece. It still looks nice and, since completing installation, I actually think it looks better than it would if the chrome DID in fact go all the way down. Just don't expect it to cover all the way like I did. The description doesn't tell you this and you can't even make it out in the photo due to shadows. When I dry-fitted the very first panel, I almost packed it up and sent it back for this very reason. But now that it's installed, I'm soooo glad I kept it.I installed the kit yesterday. I drove it to work this morning and everyone thought it looked absolutely beautiful - as do I. I am so pleased with my purchase. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel like the description and photos were somewhat misleading, for the reasons mentioned above. However, I would absolutely recommend this kit to anyone who wants this look for their truck. It saved me literally hundreds of dollars versus the alternative of repainting the entire driver side of my truck, and I definitely love the look.

Very good looking finish
The packaging was very sturdy and once I laid everything out test fit and prepped the area install was a breeze. This backing tape is no joke so test fit and take your time. Overall total install was an hour but the results are stunning. I got questions today if I had purchased another truck.

Fit 2013 f150 Super Crew with 6.5 box
Bought these for my 2013 F150 Super Crew with 6.5 box. Panels fit the truck very nicely. The only issue I ran into was the panel the went directly being the rear wheel. In order to make it fit I had to slid it behind the factory plastic trim piece, which was a little challenging with the 3M tape. Other than that they fit perfectly.
