It is a really cute set I really love the small utensils I used it as a photo prop

The ceramic pieces are finely detailed. They remind me of a set my mother had . The cups fit the saucers. The silverware is metal. All you need for a dolls tea party.

Very pretty blue pattern! The tiny silverware is detailed and well cut. All items are scaled correctly and very attractive. A pretty good bargain.

I don't regret getting this set at all but let me start with the downsides so those are out of the way.. I do want to point out that the kettle is pretty big for a 1:12 style dollhouse - all the other items are a great size. For example, I use them for my calico critters and especially considering how tiny original calico critters accessories are, the kettle is pretty chunky. However, I don't really use much of the calico critters original accessories, mostly just the figures themselves so it's not too bad of a contrast.The kettle, cups and sugar/milk pots are a little wobbly on their feet. They'll stand up no problem but if you bump into the dollhouse or brush by them trying to play or decorate you will absolutely positively knock them over.The white dinner plates are fluted on the rims, however there's not a whole lot of definition there.Note that the kitchen utensil holder is painted wood, not porcelain. Especially the kitchen utensil set is very nice, clean quality, probably my favorite piece out of the whole assortment, although the wooden spoons etc are flat and therefore more simplistic than some of the other items. but that's just a matter of how realistic and unified a style you're going for in your dollhouse.Now, I've spent a lot of time on the interwebz researching the best value for money balance on dollhouse miniatures and trust me when I tell you that, whatever flaws these items have are definitely made up for by how affordable they are. I know for a fact that each of these sets (kitchen utensils, tea set, and I'm talking about this very one, dinner plates, cutlery) are sold separately on various other websites and, if bought seperately, would cost more, shipping from different sellers not included.so this is a great way, especially if you're not a purist when it comes to realistic and well scaled miniatures, to decorate your dollhouse. definitely going to be loved by any child.
