Excellent choice!
Purchased for grandchildren, this little book was a big hit. When they came to visit, the 5 year old already knew pertinent facts about butterflies that she had learned from this book making our tour of my Butterfly garden even more exciting for her.

Great resource for budding entomologists!
We received an advanced copy for review and I’m blown away by the quality of this book! It’s incredibly hard to find scientific books for kids that are not over their heads, watered down, or just plain boring. This hits all the right marks. My kids are 12, 10, and 8 - all enjoyed reading it! I will admit I thought I knew a lot about butterflies and even I learned a thing or two reading this! Love having this as a part of our home library and I look forward to using it with the kids to help ID butterflies this spring.
