Wry easy install. Works like they should. Would definitely get these again if I needed them

Ignore the 1 stars
EDIT: Over a year later. Product is still in the same condition as day one. Many of the complaints about this are 1) the tacks included to attach the brackets to the windowsill are too small. I am 6’1 with large hands and had no issues whatsoever. 2) They are flimsy, dont last, or dont work. I installed mine properly and quickly and not only do I not even notice them when I have my curtains up, they have shown absolutely no signs of falling off, breaking, or anything along those lines. They are easy to install if you actually take your time (even just 5-10) mins, and make sure they are set up in the proper place.

UMmmm………..
Sorry for the crazy Title but it describes these in the nutshell. I needed these because I live in a rental that prefers no holes in walls etc. I had been using command strip holders to hold up curtains at my patio single door but with weather changes etc the glue dries out and the curtains end up on the floor! I tried gorilla double sided tape ect. Still fell down- so I decided to get these as they “ tack into “ rather than drill holes etc. and they are made so you can place on the upper window frame that unless you are on a ladder and above the window you would never see a hole - perfect ! But not. The actual hardware the plate and rod holder are fine. I would say Medium duty not heavy duty which is fine for my needs of hanging light weight curtains on a single door. Sadly they do provide 1 extra Tack but the tacks are so soft they can bend in your hand so if you don’t get them in with one pound of the hammer - they break and you are done!! Luckily since they are being installed in a place you will never see I used very tiny headed nails to attach to the frame. Also be careful as in the frame that you attach has a built in teeny tiny little nail which the instructions say to place down into the wood however the wood is to hard and even with a hammer it would not catch so I reversed it. Kept the little head facing up and just used my little nails !! Working perfectly! Just don’t rely on the tacks …. Have tiny headed nails on standby! Hope this helps !!

No holes in the wall

Good in theory, mediocre in execution
I got these for my apartment so that I wouldn’t have to fill any holes. They’re doing the job, but they are a pain to install. Getting the “spike” to hammer in first is nearly impossible. Then, the pins included are very easily bent and broken if you don’t get the angle right. My curtain rods are up for now but I’m glad I only have small rods and sheer curtains. I wouldn’t trust them with anything heavier.

Perfect in laundry room window.
I have a little window in my laundry room and these work perfect to hang the curtains. Sturdy and easy to put up and hang the rod on.

So poorly designed in every way
Seriously these are junk. Do not waste your time with them like I did. I thought I would save myself $5 a pair with these instead of the original kwik hang—don’t make my mistake. These are flimsy and so hard to put up. I wasted so much time and multiple damaged tacks trying to get these up. I whipped out my old kwik hang (they are reusable whereas I doubt these are without new tacks) and it went up in 10 seconds and is so much sturdier. Now I have to go buy another pair of those and frankly these ones that I already haphazardly hung don’t seem stable so I won’t be surprised if I have to replace the whole bunch.

Easy to use and gets the job done
I own an older home that has plaster walls and drilling into them is messy and unforgiving to mistakes. These were the perfect solution. Perfect placement the first time, no damage to my walls and these are holding my fairly heavy curtains well. This is the only way I will hang curtains from now on.
