Perfect
This TP-Link WiFi extender works really well and does exactly what it promises. Setup was quick and easy, and within minutes I noticed a big improvement in WiFi coverage, especially in areas where the signal was weak before. The connection is stable and fast enough for streaming, browsing, and everyday use. I like how compact it is, and the signal lights make it easy to find the best spot to plug it in. For the price, the performance is excellent and feels very reliable. Overall, this is a great value for the money. If you need to extend your WiFi without spending too much, this is a very good option. Highly recommended.

Cheap and useful!
The TP-Link AC1200 Wi-Fi Range Extender RE315 is a solid, budget-friendly fix that actually works. Setup is a breeze and only takes about five minutes using the Tether app. What I love most is the OneMesh support, which creates a single, seamless network so your phone doesn't drop the signal while you're walking around the house. It even has a smart signal light on the front that turns white when you’ve found the perfect spot and red if it's too far from the router, taking all the guesswork out of placement. While it’s not the absolute fastest tech on the market, it provides plenty of speed for 4K streaming and video calls, and there's even an Ethernet port if you want to hardwire a device for extra stability. It’s a great middle ground solution if you want to kill dead spots without spending hundreds on a full system.

Works great
This is a great extender. It was very easy to set up and has great range. The only point holding this back from 5 stars was that you have to connect to this extender and didn’t just work as an extension of your network. I didn’t think you would need to be logged into the extender as well as the network in other areas of the house. I thought it would just work invisibly by extending the existing network, but that might be my misunderstanding of how this worked.

Great Product
This worked great. My router combined both 2.4GHz and 5GHz and I used this extender to assist with 2.4GHz. The instructions were easy and it connected to my router with no problem. A couple of my gadgets only needed the 2.4GHz option and this helped connect to them right away and they are no longer dropping on the network. The signal is also stronger because of the extended coverage so that is an added plus. The design is great and I barely notice is it’s there because of the size. I also used this option instead of buying a whole new router which would cost me way more.

Provides Good Signal To Outdoor Smart Lights
I purchased this to extend wifi to my three KASA smart lights located just outside my garage doors. I have Access Points on all 3 levels of my home, but was getting a weak signal to 2 lights and no signal at all to 1 of the lights. I decided to install the extender on the ceiling using the garage outlet so it wouldn't take up a wall outlet or be in the way. I was initially confused by the setup becuase I did know that in a Wifi Extender (non-mesh) setup that you have to connwct the desired devices to the Wifi Extener network. Once I got that squared away, everything was plug and play. Plus, the TP Extender has a cool feature called 'Location Assistant' that helps you position the Extender to ensure it get good signal from your home network. After I setup everything, my smart lights are all getting -70dBm signal from my Wifi Extender and I have access to the lights with my phone connected to my home network.

Easy to set up!
Easy to setup ... especially if you already have a TP-Link router that uses the Tether app. Sets up as a mesh network, so no "additional" extender networks with weird names sitting on your WiFi list, and no need to reconfigure any devices that were getting too weak a signal prior. They just connect with their existing settings. Works well, and extends signal strength to those areas where your main router can't quite reach.

Easy to work with.
Very easy to set up with my phone. It's has an intuitive user interface. Internet speed is fine. However, with my small house I thought the range would be a little better. I use this in the basement family room and ended up putting it in a room directly below my router and it works fine.

Best Purchase Ever!
Best purchase of 2025. This thing works like a charm, easy set up and immediately made it possible for me to have incredibly strong connection strength to my WiFi when I thought it would be impossible. My router is upstairs and now I can enjoy gaming on the couch downstairs while chillin with my dog! Do yourself a favor and get this to improve your connection ASAP!
