Super cool!
Such cool paper to work on! Colored pencils go on like a dream. Ink from stamping takes a While to dry, but it eventually will. I haven’t used any other medium on it yet, but I love it. This is super expensive at $25; a dollar a sheet, so I am being careful not to waste a bit. I Love that it can be used over text for layering in journals. Five stars for paper. One star for cost.

Unusual use... R/C Aircraft hinge material.
I had a dwindling supply of some drafting Mylar that I've been using for 25 years to make hinge material for my R/C aircraft. I thought I would give this a try so I purchased it. It actually is the same exact material that I have been using over the years. You can not tear this material. It is extremely durable, thin enough, yet very flexible. The lightweight is also extremely important because one needs to keep airframe weight to a minimum. It also takes glue fantastically. Beside benefit is that it ends up creating a self-centering flight control surface. I can draw on it with pencil yet extremely easy to erase the pencil marks after I make my cuts. Oh yeah I will be also using it to make stencils for the final painting and marking of a finished subject. I've already found multiple other uses already. I can highly recommend this material and would give it over five stars if I could.

BEST PAPER FOR FOILING!
This paper saved my invitations! I wanted to foil the writing, but every other type of paper would cause it to either wrinkle, or was to textured. I literally tried 5 different types of paper. Dura Lar is smooth, durable and flexible, and prints beautifully from a laser printer. I am so thankful I found this paper!!

Awesome alternative surface to paper for drawing.
I used this film for drawing with colored pencil. It erases easily, but the color you lay down after isn't as vibrant. You also have to use really even pressure as you lay down the color otherwise it looks streaky. I placed black cardstock under the film so I could see better, as I draw on a clear glass top but this may not be necessary when you draw on it. The Duralar film really is a unique drawing surface, but like any paper it takes some testing to learn how to work with it best.

Smooth and depth of colored pencils
I recently came across Dura-Lar paper and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its quality. As a colored pencil artist, I always look for papers that allow me to create more depth with my colors and Dura-Law paper has exceeded my expectations. The double-sided option is a game-changer for me. It gives me the flexibility to alter colors and depth without altering the front side. Another thing that I really appreciate about Dura-Lar paper is the ease with which I can use my slic tool. The paper's smooth surface allows me to smoothly glide my slic tool over it and removes the pencil nicely. Overall, I would highly recommend Dura-Lar paper to all colored pencil artists out there. It is a unique paper and one of my go-to papers now, and I am sure it will be yours too once you give it a try.

Trying this out for colored pencil work
I probably haven't tested this enough - it's an interesting surface that can be worked on both sides. For layers of colored pencil, only so many can be applied, and apparently, if erased more than a few times, all "tooth" is lost and it literally can't hold any more colored pencil (oil or wax based). I found that out the hard way, and had to apply some ink and craft paint in a few areas in order to salvage my parrot drawing. The experts call this particular surface "student grade," so just be aware that it's great for inks, but just okay for serious colored pencil use. It seems fine for less detailed work, such as cartoons and illustrations. Most often, a backer sheet is used to either add color or make the drawing pop. The artist grade film is much more expensive, so this is fine for learning!

this is great for art projects
I happen to LOVE Dura-Lar! It can be adhered to canvases as a full on sheet or as part of a collage. The surface is much like Bristol paper ( no tooth ), so the paint ( and I use oil paint ) adheres without losing any color value You can't use acrylics with Dura-Lar however because it chips and scratches off easily. I learned this the hard way. I'm sooo happy I can purchase this product from Amazon ( and Dick Blick ) It is an acid free plastic paper as well.

Fantastic pad and reasonable price
This was recommend by my art teacher. I looked around and found this on Amazon at a very good price. The paper itself is very good for taking coloured pencils and does not rip if erasing gently. It takes colours well and is easy to blend on. Good amount of pages for the price. At the moment i am only learning so did not want to pay vast amounts on paper that could land up in the bin. Recommend buying this so easy to use and gives good results. Arrived promptly and well packaged.
