This is the best product I have worked with, wish I would have found it before I was halfway done.For those complaining about it not being sticky enough, try putting it in the sun for awhile then apply.

I just used the Uxcell 80 mil on my new 60 gallon air compressor tank. You could thump the tank and it would ring like a bell. I rolled 5 sheets onto the back side and it deadened the tank. It took the ringing right out of the tank. The big compressor is noisy. I added the sound deadening and anti-vibration and isolation floor pads and that all together did help reduce the noise level just a bit. The rest of the Uxcell will be used in my old Ford Ranger 4x4, I'll pick up were I left off. I've done the back of the extended cab, from the seats on back (removed the jump seats) and it made a big difference. I removed the rear interior panels and rear door panels and covered all that I could. I installed a sub, new door speakers and added tweeters to the rear doors and since installing the deadening I can enjoy listening to my tunes.

This did the job! Wanted something for a sink I added that was loud when watercwas running. Worked great!

Using it as a heat and vibration barrier on a utv so far so good. Sticks very well to all the plastic

I have an 18-foot powerboat with an inboard V6 engine. I’m rebuilding it from the deck up, including a plywood box finished in marine vinyl as an engine cover. I wanted to muffle the sound from the engine and got this pack of insulation. First thing I noticed is that it is reasonably heavy, heavier than some other similar products I’ve used in the past. It does seem well made.After sealing the inner wood with elastomeric paint, I measured the 3 inner box walls and top I wanted to cover and planned out the job. Each mat is just under 2-feet by 16-inches and you get 10 of them. I laid them out inside the box and made my pencil marks. Once I figured out the best way to cover the interior, I stripped off the backing and stuck the sticky side to the paint. I cut the pieces I needed to custom-fit with a pair of sharp sheers.This made a noticeable difference in the sound of the engine. Another benefit – it is insulation, so it prevents some heat from going through to the cover itself and the hot air is vented out the sides of the boat.This thin insulating material could be used in vehicles and many other applications.

Decent for price, purchased for the sole reason of needing it for a upcoming car show and was offered very fast delivery. Not bad but In the long run will probably stick with my longtime use of Noico products. wish it was a bit stickier, and definitely not 80mil as advertised

This stuff works well and is easy to install. The protective backing peels off the adhesive layer very easily, and the adhesive adheres instantly to the metal and plastic surfaces of my car interior. I installed this in my trunk, center console, and back doors to try to reduce the volume of a new turboback exhaust that was louder than I wanted. It made a noticeable difference in exhaust tone and loudness. One pack was enough to cover most surfaces of the trunk floor, door panels, and a few other places that I thought could use a little sound dampening.It is easy to cut - the adhesive does not stick to scissors when you cut with the backing on. This makes it very simple to cut to size and shape.
