These trays ARE PLASTIC. I bought these thinking they were stainless steel, but these trays are NOT STEEL despite the end of the summary description saying that they are "Made from heavy-gauge polished stainless steel". Looking through the rest of the description I see multiple references to "Aluminum steel construction" as well as other references to "Stainless Steel Nut And Bolt Tray". If they were actually steel I would probably rate a 5, but as it is I am quite disappointed to find they are PLASTIC dishes rather than stainless and will be returning them.

great small magnetic round parts tray holder. Very strong magnets. Actually the magnets are strong enough that they will magatize the smaller screws or parts you put in their just so your aware. For me that was a good thing. You don't have to worry about anything falling out of the container.I choose these with the colors so I could keep stuff separate when I worked on stuff where I needed to keep screws etc, seprerate and the colored trays allow that so easiliy. The colors are very bright and they will not chip. I am sure if you left them in the sun they would fade in time. But they are a great product at a great cost.

I got these to use for a bunch of odds and ends around the house. We have a Bobby pin infestation and these work great for those. We keep one on the bathroom shelf for this very reason. They also are useful with sewing supplies- I am guilty of using the couch as a pin cushion while sewing- I keep one of these near by and no longer have to de-porcupine the arm rest when cleaning up. I set these bowls on none magnetic surfaces mostly- they are well weighted and sturdy even when not utilizing the base magnet. I love that they are colorful and come in a smaller size.

I like the colors, I like the fact that they STICK like crazy on my cars' fenders-- AND they TENACIOUSLY hold (little) tools and nuts and bolts that normally would end up hidden, under the oil pan and on top of the greasy cross-member (but since I am a klutz, I still keep the 4' grabber nearby).The colors are cool-- the more primary colored ones for my hot rod. The more sedate ones for my daily driver.And Bob, if you hug a homeless kitten, please don't leave it there-- adopt it. Thanks

You can buy these cheaper on Amazon from other sellers. Same exact product. I was duped. They stink bad. The rubber used coming out of the package will make you crazy if you have any smell capability. They are not all metal. The magnets are in the middle and none of the rest of the cups will attract anything. These are marginal and if I had the time I'd ship them back. They are colorful. AVOID

If you are constantly taking things apart and putting them back together, these trays are the ticket. You always know where the screws are and, if you accidentally tip the trays, the screws stay with them. I have not lost a screw yet since using them. Well worth the purchase price.

Nice price and worked as advertised. My youngest thought it would be a great time to go find metal to stick while my daughter played with a bunch of screws and experimented with how they behaved in the magnetic field. I think the record was 3x 1inch screws before collapse.All in all worked great and worth the money.BTW the rubber on the bottom is great idea as it adds friction to keep it from sliding.

Magnets are strong-but the smell is stronger! I indedned to use these for pins in my sewing room but could not get over he smell! These reek of petroleum!! I left them outside for 2 weeks to air out or "off gas" and they were still too strong. Husband loves them in the garage tho.
