SINGER® S0100 High Speed Serger Overlock Machine, 2-3-4 Thread Capability

Love it. Lightweight. Easy to thread. Functions well. Helpful instructional videos on Singer website. However machine just stopped working. Perhaps problem with pedal?

(+) points: 1- A well-known brand which works good. 2- I thought threading is difficult but it was easy if you find and follow a good video on internet. 3- the price is better than the same level machine. Not (+) points: This is the first time that I use serger overlock machine and I think the manual is not efficient for me specifically for threading. (Find and follow a good video on internet) :)

I recently received my Singer S0100 serger and I'm eager to put it to use. However, I was surprised to find that it wasn't pre-threaded as the product information suggested. Despite this setback, the machine has received fantastic reviews and I'm looking forward to using it once I get it set up.

Buena compra de esta máquina. Observación: Instrucciones poco claras en el frente de la máquina y en papel. Los colores que guían poco definidos y no se distinguen. Me ayudé con video de YouTube . Hay que ubicarla en una mesa pesada porque se mueve mucho es muy fuerte.

Unless you have tiny hands, this machine is virtually impossible to thread due to lack of space. The tweezers that are supposed to help with threading were not in the package. There is no manual shipped with the machine. I found two manuals on line. The instructions are conflicting. They identify symbols which are not found on the machine. I previously owned a Singer serger and did not have any problems with it, until it finally gave up after more than 30 years of use.

Es perfecta hermosa y de un tamaño adecuado. Estaba triste porque no vi la pinza para los hilos pero al abrir la maquina la encontré adentro. Llego perfecta y estoy muy feliz

Is 3 stars fair? I don't really know because I can't rate the function of the serger out of the box (as the description states) because it DOES NOT "arrive pre-threaded for my convenience". It also DOES NOT include thread. So, even if I was ready to DIY the threading setup, I don't have thread. This is def not convenient. But, I have hope that the serger will work like a dream... once I have thread. I read the warnings. But I thought... that can't be right, I'm sure it comes threaded, just like the description said. Sad to say, the warnings are legit.

Took awhile to thread properly. After several tries I watched a video and was able to tread this machine. Like most reviews no tweezers or manual included with this machine. The other accessories were inside the flat bed extension.

C'est une petite merveille. J'adore ça. Ça fait du beau travail. C'est stressant de devoir enfiler les bobines par contre. Ouf pas évident du tout. Mais avec une bonne dose de courage et de calme, ça va. Et pis le plaisir de coudre avec cette machine est beaucoup plus élevé que le stress d'embobiner. Heureusement qu'ils vendent de très grosses bobines.

Une machine hyper simple à manipuler. Robuste et un design très sympathique. Agréable. Pas trop bruyante.
