This is a gorgeous thing by all accounts, the weight, the wood quality, the design its perfect............ BUT!The top has a laser engraved - Asian lettering company logo on the top which isn't shown in pictures, which takes a thing of beauty and makes it feel cheap and tacky. A real disappointment to a beautiful object.I ended up sanding the logo off and now I'm very happy!

The tamper is fine and gets the job done. However for the price, I’m not completely happy. The tamper does have some heft to it which is good. The handle is made of nice wood piece. There is cheap metal spacer to make it longer for better fit. But there is a rubber part to it that I don’t like that make the whole thing look and feel cheap.More importantly, the tamper is not exactly the right size for a 58 mm basket. It needs to be a slight bit larger. As it it is coffee grounds come up from the sides of the tamper.

The brand at the top of the handle is missing and there is a scratch on the wood.. At least what I received was a fake one as it is bot similar to what you see in the photos.

Professional coffee tamper. Excellent quality wooden handle and metal parts. Steel collar below the wooden handle can be removed for a lower profile. I highly recommend this product.

Very well crafted piece that’s a great deal for the price. I had a convex tamper which unfortunately broke, so I was looking for a replacement and wanted to try a flat tamper.Very happy with the overall quality. Nicely milled stainless steel base and the wood handle is comfortable and smooth as well.
