***Dog measurements near the end if you want to skip to that part!***I have a Doberman and Malshi (Maltese-Shitzu) who both get cold very easily. The little one is fairly easy to fit, though she does have a somewhat long torso. The Doberman is always the struggle to find something that fits her comfortably and keeps her warm. Usually the sweaters I have gotten her end up either too short across the back or too tight across the chest.I have tried SO many dog sweaters, and have spent countless hours reading reviews and looking at photos and comparing different brands and size charts, all in search of comfortable, functional, and properly fitting sweaters for my girls. I spent a long time reading the reviews for this one specifically, comparing the size chart with the reviews and photos of dogs comparable to mine. I finally decided on sizes and ordered, and just got these in the mail today. I tried them on my girls, and IMMEDIATELY had to review!These are PERFECT! Before I get to fit, I’ll talk about the sweaters themselves. They seem well made, and were packaged adequately. I did not notice any flaws, signs of use, or weird odors. The zippers work easily, the elastic ties are all intact and work as needed. I don’t foresee any issues with these falling apart unreasonably quickly, I was impressed with the quality. The fleece fabric is very soft, and I love the rich purple color.As far as design, they were not too difficult to get on (that being said, my girls don’t fight me, so if you have a wiggly one I could see it being more difficult). I recommend putting the hind legs in first, getting the zipper started, then putting the front legs in and finishing the zipper. The potty opening is big enough that I don’t see any issues with them soiling themselves, but there is still good coverage underneath.Now for the fit. My dogs’ measurements are as follows:My Malshi is about 12 lbs, 14” from base of the neck to base of the tail, and 18” around the widest part of the rib cage.My Doberman is about 90 lbs, 27” from base of the neck to base of the tail, and 32” around the widest part of the ribcage.I was extremely pleased with the fit on both of my girls. I went back and forth between sizes, especially for the Dobie, because different measurements fit into different parts of the size chart, and then some of the reviews were also a bit conflicting on top of that. I ultimately ended up ordering an XS and a 2XL, and they were definitely both the correct size. Not too snug, and not too loose as to be falling off. I love that the neck and the waist are both adjustable to help with getting the right fit. The back length is spot on, and I’m happy with how much coverage they provide. My girls are nice and cozy. The little one has snuck her front paw out a couple times, but overall the fit is pretty perfect for both of them, especially given how difficult dog sizing is! I am extremely pleased.Looking at the size chart now, it seems that the chest measurement was the most accurate indicator of the correct size for my dogs. The back length was the next most accurate, and the weight was the least accurate (especially for the Doberman).Hopefully this helps save someone else some time and frustration! My dogs are really enjoying these and I couldn’t be happier with them. I will probably order is several more colors. 10/5 stars!!!

I really was happy with this sweater for my dog! I can never find one with enough coverage. I have a 3 year old Doberman and she gets cold easy. This dog sweater fit her perfectly and she can still go to the bathroom. Super cute and the zip is glow in the dark! Probably going to buy more.

My dog is a mix. The measurements were correct but the shape of his body was off lol so take that into consideration. It fit my neighbors lab just fine though, kept her warm and let her stay out longer so I know it works, just not for my misshapen baby 🤣

Got 2 of these, hoping they'd fit my pets (7# & 5.75#), but the size XXS was too big for both dogs (back length was hanging 2" past their butt, & even cinched, belly too baggy). I ended up giving 1 of the coats to my friend's dog, which it fit (10# with 16" girth & 12" back), & returned the other one, since it didn't fit either of my dogs (material of the 2nd was also slightly different from the 1st coat).The coats looked well made, & I would LOVE to get this warm purple fleece for both my dogs, but as MANY other reviewers with 6-7-pound pets have also experienced, the XXS size (smallest size currently available) is too big - dogs of the common (breed standard) chihuahua size (~6#) need a smaller size than XXS. ROZKITCH - please make this fleece coat available in a size XXXS (3XS), to fit breed-standard size (6-pound) chihuahuas [chest girth 14" (36cm) & back length 10" (26cm)]. MANY reviewers have said they need a smaller size than XXS (U.S. reviewers on Dec 27,2020; Nov 19,2022; Dec 2,2022; Dec 21, 2022; Dec 31, 2022; Jan 14, 2023; Jan 16,2023; & Feb 10, 2023, plus the Jan 16, 2023 reviewer from Canada, all said that size XXS was too big for their pet, & they all really wished a smaller size was available to buy for their pet). Chihuahuas always get cold, so they really need this warm coat most of all!ROZKITCH -please have this purple fleece coat manufactured in a size XXXS/3XS (14"/36cm girth, 10"/26cm back) - if you add this smaller size (XXXS/3XS) to your size selection, many pet parents who want to buy this nice warm fleece coat for their pets, will have a size available that fits. There is certainly demand/desire in your customer base, for a smaller size than you currently have available.

This fleece was a little bog on my dog, Bodhi when I first got it. He's growing quickly and I'm happy I went with a size up! I love that it covers his legs and that the neck comes up high to keep him completely warm. His short fur doesn't do him any favors in the winter. He barely wanted to go outside until I purchased this for him. Now, he doesn't notice that it's cold!

Well, my pitti was able to go out and enjoy the snow on days that were very cold, combined with a pijama under it, can give your pet a solid hour on very cold days, will buy different colors for this coming winter, highly recommend

The media could not be loaded.  Unfortunately timing - had to be shaved due to terribly matted right before a snow storm. I ordered the wrong size (got a medium when it should have been a large) but actually grateful for a snug fit. Keep in mind if you have a chewer - mine managed to chew off the toggles within the first 48 hours, and would have ripped the whole thing to shreds if it were looser fitting.Getting it on was a battle, but with ours, it’s better to put the back legs in first and get the zipper started, then the front was less of a fight.Washing instructions are confusing because the chart said machine wash, description said hand wash, but nowhere did it say whether or not you can put it in the dryer.His harness fits over it, has been able to pee and poop without getting it soiled, and…as you can see…has not hindered movement 🤣

Love the fleece, soft and flexible and stays on the hind legs.Not waterproof but that wasn’t an expectation as it’s fleece (Amazon had waterproof as soemthing to rate for this review)

I had to fix it a bit but over all it is a Good product Thick and Warm. The neck opening is way to big and the adjustment tread was fix on one side wich mean no adjustment possible I cut it and make it loose on both side I succed in putting a gromet on one side but the other side had a big hole (too bad but no gromet) I did not toutch it. On a closing note make the next coat with gromets were it is needed. Thank You! Yolande Labbé

I was excited to see a Doberman in the product pic. I measured his chest using the size guide but it’s huge on him. It’s a nice fabric but nothing lines up like it’s supposed to and it’s not attractive like in the photo.
