Installed my OS on this ssd and now my PC boots up in 30 secs. Great value and comes with an nice software from Crucial website to monitor the health of the drive. If you want a better option you can go for the Mx500 which has Dram built in to the SSd. But the Bx500 does a great job if you dont do a lot of writing to the drives, otherwise go for the Mx500

This is the best SSD for such a low price (rather than Kingston, pny, Lexar, WD green, etc...), now of course, Samsung, MX500, WD blue, Seagate are much better but also they're more expensive, so for this price, there are no complaints about it. However, one thing that upset me is that I have bought more than 15 of these for my friends from three different sellers, and I've discovered that there are two variations, sometimes I receive a full plastic shell (inferior), and sometimes I receive the same plastic shell but with a metal bottom (superior). I don't know what is the reason behind that, maybe it's because of the sellers or Crucial themselves selling different variations, but one thing I know for sure is that it depends on your luck whether you get the superior or inferior variation of this SSD, so just keep that in mind.

Thanks to Amazon and Seller (kingdisk-store) Saves a lot of money and time instead of buying new laptop, an 4 year old laptop, suddenly its hdd got crashed and stop working. In the beginning, thought to upgrade the laptop, later this idea came to mind. After that everything was quick. 1. Checked the SSD's - Micron is doing very good job so far. 2. Ordering and Delivery is always so fast so good.(Next Day Delivery). 3. Installing WIN 10 - its just finished within few minutes. Now the laptop is so lively and smooth. From my research, Micron is good and cheap economical SSD in the market. Those who are looking for a budget one and upgrading your old laptops, i would recommend this. Standard and Special packing is basically up to you guys. I ordered with standard one and came in simple amazon packing with original cover with seal. (Sorry no bubble wrappers :P) Thanks to Amazon.

Great Value and Quality

My old laptop is like Grandfather's Axe. I've changed the operating system; changed the memory; upgraded the battery and now installed a new SSD. It's finally become quite fast and reliable. I checked compatibility on Crucial's website but ordered from Amazon because I wanted to be sure the drive would be here the next day. It was. Installation was fairly trivial: I put the disc into a 2.5" USB drive enclosure, copied the operating system, repaired the usual "MIBR is missing" error that I always seem to get when I mess around with computers; then transplanted the drive from its box to the hard-drive slot in my machine. I have to say that it looked to be too wide to fit: obviously an illusion because it was exactly the same size as my old 2.5" disc. I dual boot Linux / Windows: no problems there. It really does reduce the time taken to boot up and makes the computer generally more responsive. And... a Terabyte (nearly) for £100! That's amazing, I can remember when a 20 MB rotating platter disc was a bargain at £250: and that was when £250 was a lot of money. It's not all that long ago. If you're sitting on the fence, I'd urge you to jump off and into the 21st century.

Ich habe mir diese SSD als externe Platte zugelegt. Da ich ansonsten eher die SSD von Samsung verwende, muss ich sagen das ich mit dieser SSD seht zufrieden bin. Schreib- und Lesegeschwindigkeit ist wirklich sehr gut. Ich habe es jetzt nicht mit einen Tool gemessen. Im Vergleich zu meinen SSD die im Laptop eingebaut sind steht diese SSD von der Performance um nichts nach.

Comprei e montei já faz quase quatro anos e está funcionando como no dia em que chegou. O Boot caiu de mais de dois minutos para vinte segundos. Crucial é um grande fabricante, comprei pela marca e fiquei satisfeitíssimo.
