Alexa integration a but iffy
The following is my original review followed by updates added since the issues I had might have been with the Echo it was paired with. I'll leave the review since it describes a process that a buyer might experience. When I first got this, setup was a bit of effort. When it didn't work, I tried looking for help, but ultimately I found that what I was doing should have been correct. Normally, it's crazy to do the same thing over and over again when it doesn't work, but in this case, it did get it to work. Now it works, most of the time. There are times that Alexa can't find it. More often than not, Alexa can get it to do what it's supposed to, such as turning on or off or adjusting the light level, but about half the time, Alexa does it and tells me that it can't do it. Since the problem seems to be more related to communication back to Alexa, it means that it's not as big a problem near the light as it is trying to check it from the Alexa app, or simply wanting to give a command in another room. So checking to see if it was left on, turning it on in advance of going to a room, or trying to turn it off from another room in case it was left on are a bit of a problem. UPDATE: I gave up on the bulb since it was unreliable and ordered a replacement one. The replacement paired right away on the first try and so far is working flawlessly. UPDATE 2: After a few days, it was giving me problems again. I tried to pair it starting fresh, and this time, it paired with an Echo Show one floor below instead of an Echo Dot in the same room (both are latest generation) so it's possible that the issue is entirely the fault of the Echo Dot. If it does give me problems again, I will give one more update. In the meantime, I will give it the benefit of the doubt and assume that it's Amazon's fault.

Love this brand of lights, perfect and compatible with alexa, we used them everyday with timers, enough brightness and easy to control, i would recommend this brand, works well

So easy to set up and works perfectly with Alexa!
I was impressed with how simple these Sengled smart bulbs were to set up—literally just screw them in, and Alexa recognizes them within seconds. The voice control is seamless. I can turn the lights on/off, dim them, or adjust the brightness hands-free, and the response time is instant. The dimming range from 5% to 100% is great for setting the right mood whether it’s morning, evening, or movie time. I also love being able to control the lights remotely through the Alexa app—it’s convenient when I’m away from home and want the house to look occupied. Plus, being able to track energy use is a nice bonus. Overall, these bulbs are high-quality, reliable, and incredibly easy to use. If you want hassle-free smart lighting that integrates perfectly with Alexa, this is an excellent choice.

Nice bulb, bad connectivity
edit; They did finally send me a new bulb and it's working, but from what I'm seeing my experience is pretty common. The connectivity on these bulbs are just simply terrible. I don't think I'll ever buy one again. ______________ I bought this bulb about 2 years ago, partly because of the warranty it boasts. Recently it just stopped showing up in the Sengled App, and won't show up in the Alexa app (even though you can technically control it with Alexa voice, which I don't want to use). Sengled gave me a run around, responding to it not working with their own app by saying "you don't need the app you can use alexa or home!" like it's broken connectivity is a friggin' feature, not a bug. The end result is it's pretty clear the bulb is no longer working properly, and Sengled won't honor the warranty. So this is a warning to not buy any sengled products since they don't honor the warranties.

Convenient
Convenient and easy to use. At 60W not very bright but good for soft lighting. I like turning it on before entering dark home. I wish it was available in 100W.

initially had connectivity issues. even tech support was stumped. one bulb stopped working day two. so much trouble shooting and i was set to return it. Then when i added the replacement bulb they sent me to the alexa she suddenly acknowledge the first bulb. bizarre. No problems since and they work great. nice light. i’m even going to pay for the replacement and keep both as i’m confidant it was an alexa issue not the bulb. yeah amazon!

I bought this as it ticket all the compatibly boxes of my new £250 lamp. It sparked and destroyed my lamp! Thankfully Wayfair refunded fully, as I blamed the lamp. Just to be sure, I had another bedroom lamp that had the same specs required, it broke that lamp! Which was part of a set and no longer selling. This cheap second rate bulbs had ended up costing me over £300!

I bought a new Echo dot and this came with at no additional cost. Amazed at the negative feedback, to the point where I thought for sure this would be a dud, but I’ve had zero issue with it. First off, it is Bluetooth so it needs to be the right distance from your echo device (I’m using an echo show 8 and it’s about 10ft away). Also, assuming this is plugged into a lamp or light fixture of some sort, that thing must have constant power. If you switch the power source off, Alexa won’t be able to communicate with it. Even if you turn of the power, it will take a few seconds to properly connect so power should be left on at all times to it. Second, if using exclusively through Echo your colour selections are limited, but I’ve had no issues selecting from those colours or changing brightness through Alexa. Connecting to the bulb was extremely easy, again, assuming you are following normal Bluetooth rules like not being to close or too far from the controlling device. I didn’t bother with the app and use exclusively through either my echo show or via Alexa app. Using as noted above, I get instantaneous response controlling the bulb and have had zero issues.
