I watched a YouTube creator's video and he suggested (affiliate link) that I buy this for easy refills on 1lb Coleman type propane bottles.Specifically I liked that it has its own shut off valve and you don't have to mess around with the valve on the big 20lb tank while it is upside down and surrounded by the protection ring....Also, it's very affordable. So even if I did not like it I would not have very hurt feelings or budget.Well, I like it very much and it works great for me. I wish I had began refilling my own green bottles sooner. Fortunately I have been (*not recycling) saving them for years in a corner basket of my shed and will likely never have to buy a green bottle again!!

I order this product to refill the small propane cylinders because the small cylinders were not available to purchase. This products works great for refilling the small cylinders from my 20 gallon cylinder.

Good deal to fill small packages

After 1 year of use (probably 20 canisters filled) it abruptly started a very large leak through the valve stem. Since there is no packing nut to tighten or replaceable washer, the valve is trash.

Works well, but turns out it is not that safe to refill 1lbs gas cylinder....One would be better off buying a 5lbs gas tank. Way safer, cheap refills and will last you long enough for heaters, camping stove etc...Don't waste your money buying this contraption.
