I went to use my Champion Model C44020 water pump and it started leaking from the gas shutoff. Looked like the gasket and spring on the shutoff needed to be replaced. The shutoff is part of the carburetor and replacement parts are not available. Even though the Hipa carburetor was not listed for the Champion pump, I was able cross reference that it would fit. The carburetor fit perfectly. I used the existing fuel line and filter just because it was easier to install. I'm pretty sure the filter provided would work if needed. Added gas to the pump with the new carburetor installed and it started no problem. It ran fine out of the box without having to make any adjustments. Great replacement at a great price.

Log splitter with the Honda GX200 engine. While using the log splitter the engine began to run rough and after a short period of time the engine would barely run. I took the splitter back to my shop, remove the carburetor expecting to find a blockage somewhere. I found that it had lost the idle adjustment screw. It was gone.I ordered this replacement carburetor and a rebuild kit for the original carburetor. I received both of the yesterday. It took about five minutes to completely install this new carburetor. The engine started and ran perfectly with no adjustment necessary.I was going to try and repair the original carburetor but found that the rebuild kit doesn’t fit, the parts are larger, maybe for a Honda GX390 or larger. So if I was relying on the rebuild kit to get the engine running I would still be waiting for more parts.So to sum it all up. This carburetor was a very quick and painless repair. For the price of the carburetor a fella can’t screw around with the old one very long.If anything changes I’ll amend this review with a follow up.

Worked perfectly and started easily. Appears to be perfect for the Predator 212 motor. This was installed into a pacific hydrostar pressure washer from harbor freight.

Had a gas air compressor, the own carb was ruined. Replaced it with this carb, took 10 mins and the compressor fired up first pull.
