This is a great, inexpensive choice to replace a longer stem and move my bars back a bit. I saw some complaints in other reviews about the finish quality, but for $10, I’m definitely satisfied. At this price point, assume quality control is iffy, and just check it over before you install it. The one I received is perfectly fine, and all of the machining looks good. It feels sturdy, and the lack of an ugly logo is a plus.

This is a great deal for price to performance. It's actually a very good stem that I bought it 2X. The quality and finish is just as good as those name brands and I especially like that it has no branding at all. It's light,durable, and cheap and I couldn't be more satisfied.

good for the money

I've now purchased two of these stems in different lengths for different bikes. They've very light and seem pretty well-made. I would not trust my life on a downhill or enduro bike with one of these $10 stems, but they are just fine for normal street use.

Perfect for what I need it for! This is the exact same stem as the other “best bike” stem that is so popular, except it does not have any name branding on the front. The color is great, however I don’t know how it will stand up over time. You can see a scratch in the second picture that happened at some point during installation, and I don’t care since I happened to purchase this stem for just $5.59! Its going to do exactly what I need it to do. My son isn’t bombing down any trails, he’s riding his bike around the neighborhood with his buddies so it’s not going to get worked very hard. He gets the modern looks and ergonomic benefits at a price I am very happy with.This was installed on a GT Aggressor Pro without any problems. We did need to add a 5mm spacer. There were no issues with the bolts. I made sure to rotate and torque each one a little at a time. They all tightened with no stripping. I used my wife’s Cricut to add a personal touch and it looks like it belongs on the bike.

No visible damage and was able to dry fit on bike with the standard spec(31.8mm) but 2 things were wrong and I ended up having to return it1. no specs printed on the stem2. one of the bolts on the fork side didn't lock, the pinch bolt just kept turning. tried with the other pinch bolts but still didn't work

Perfect for me

This does the job and nothing more. Doesn't look the fanciest, doesn't have lightest material, and isn't brand name. BUT, it has seemed reliable and is at a reasonable cost. I wouldn't use this on my race bike, but is perfect for my leisure bike.

The threaded hole for the steerer tube clamp bolts both stripped out on installation. The force that was used to do this wasn’t even close to the 5nm normally used to affix stems.
