For the price, you can't beat it. My youngest dog lost her mind for some reason one afternoon and decided to eat the fabric border off, so this was actually my second purchase of the same item. I liked it enough to buy it twice. It has a non-slip rubber backing which is great. Since I have (messy, active) dogs it's nice to be able to take this rug outside and hose it off every now and then. I use it by the front door and it's been great.

My wife loved the rug I noticed it is hard on the barefoot. it is good looking and easy to clean.

Love this rug. If you want something durable it is perfect. It's not for bare feet but I don't walk around on it in my bare feet that's not why I bought it. It cleans up easy too.

Well made and definitely durable rug. I have used in to protect my floors. Looks great. Feels great and I would get another one.

I like it, so far. Tough, but softens a bit with wear. Looks good, smells great (like fresh hay).

This rug is falsely advertised. The photos show two different types of weaves -- most photos show the herringbone weave so I concluded that this rug was a herringbone weave. WRONG. It has a square basketweave. It wouldnt have mattered except I was buying a rug and runner and wanted them to match. NEWSFLASH: If you buy this rug in 2.5x8 runner, it will be herringbone. If you buy it in 5x8 rug, it is a basketweave. Ridiculous that after ordering the same rug in two different sizes that I would get two different style rugs. Waiting for the manufacturer to refund me so that I can return either one or both rugs, and then buy two that actually MATCH. Beware the false advertising here. (Other than that, I would have been completely happy with the rugs! I love these seagrass rugs, I have a few in my home already, they work really well in high traffic areas near entryways. The folks complaining about them being itchy and scratchy must have super sensitive feet that have never walked on old wooden floors or outside in the summertime. They feel just fine to me!)

I'd tried another jute rug, but it shed worse than a Golden Retriever. This rug doesn't shed, and the subtle pattern hides dirt and brings texture to the room. You don't even need a rug pad. It's perfect.
