Narrow diameter but great for my use otherwise.
The listing for this does not say anything about the diameter of the mast - it's about 1". This was plenty stiff for supporting my outdoor WIFI antenna, but the hardware "muffler clamp" that came with the antenna could not go down that small, so I had to find another solution.That said, this mounted easily enough and between rotating the antenna and adjusting the angle of the mast, it was easy to get a strong signal from the repeater 150 ft. away.

Great item for the price you pay.
We live in a rural area and don't have great reception for TV. Needed something to mount the antenna to for improved reception. This was perfect as it would mount to the wood facing on the enclosed porch. It was easy to put up and seems pretty sturdy. It has helped tremendously.

Good product if looking for a 1" pole
Product is well made. Would caution that you determine if you can mount to a 1" diameter. Might neet v jaw block to properly secure.

Tempest Wx Station on Philips antena j-mount
This is my second Tempest unit. The first, which I had for more than four years; was damaged by hurricane Milton. It was mounted about 4 feet above the ground on a mailbox mount. This time I used the bracket in the photo and mounted it about 15 feet above ground with the Philips j- mount. This mount by Philips was returned to Amazon and I purchased it for a steal ( < $20) compared to the braket that Tempest recommends for the tempest @ about $50. I mounted the Wx station base to a 1.3 inch OD PVC irrigation pipe and it fits over the antenna mount perfectly. There is a little bit of space that remains but you can wrap any type of tape other filler that you want to make a tight fit.Assembly of the bracket was very easy; instruction are provided, but use the QR code feature for a nice short video presentation of the procedure. The mount is made of metal with a black flat finish. I would wholeheartedly recommend this mount to anyone who purchases the tempest or other weather station.

It works very good pretty simple installation it’s a very high quality mount definitely worth the price.

Light duty bracket.
If you are used to using J Pole brackets, this is not the same, much smaller diameter and lighter bracket, not heavy duty. Otherwise, it functioned as it should.

Sturdy mount
It’s a pole. I used it to mount a cell phone range extender. Seems well made.
