Heavy duty rope lights. Very easy to install, they give you plenty of clips to install the lights, fits perfectly in the channel of the clips. They should last for years, I installed them on the top of my fence which is 9 ft. High and will never plan to take it down. They are very bright. What I like the most is that I can control the rope light from in my house to the back fence where it is installed, and about 100 ft. From my house with the remote!

I bought this along with a high-voltage LED DMX decoder for use around the perimeter of a room, lights look great and colors render well. The rope is good quality and my installation is indoor, so I can't speak to the weather capabilities. It has been in place for a few months with no issues. I tried 12v and 24v ropes, but this strip is the way to go to get consistent illumination and brightness.

The length, color, and brightness of this light were perfect for application under our deck handrail. I also appreciated that the light could bend fairly narrowly around turns. We connected the light to an Alexa-enabled exterior plug which works great.The flexibility of this strip light does make it difficult, however, to keep it from sagging between the small aluminum supports, especially on hot days. I tried hot glueing the light between the supports, which didn't really hold that well. The light came with 50 supports, so I mounted them at 1.5 foot spacing; I'd suggest something closer to 12 inches to avoid the sagging. Even better would be solid supports that are, e.g., 10 feet long.

They were very easy to install and have been very durable. Would have been perfect if there was an app to control them. Cutting to length was pretty easy.

The lights are ok but the brackets and screws they come with are absolutely terrible. The screws are too tiny to stick in anything and they strip out easily making the job super long and awful.

We mounted these along the edge of our roof on across the entire back of our house, facing the pool. They look awesome. These lights do come with mounts, but we bought the long tracks to make insulation more professional looking, and it kept the lights very straight. We are very pleased. Hannah from Shine Decor customer service has been excellent to work with and has gone above and beyond helping us to get our installation perfect. We also bought a second strand to wrap around our palm tree and it also looks fantastic. You do have to make sure that you protect the transformer in a small waterproof electrical box and keep it out of the elements (or tucked into soffit) for outdoor installation. Remote control was very easy to use.

It was a bit dark outside my townhouse so I thought some trim lighting would be helpful. This rope light worked out great for me. The only thing I had to do was add on cable tie holders in some critical areas. The clips it came with (10) weren’t enough for my liking. The metal clips came with tiny wood screws, but I bought longer ones at my local hardware store. The clips work good, but not great. If I had a straight run with no wood that I had to go over, they’d be okay at best. The one thing the metal clips do well, and why you should use the, is they keep the rectangular lights from twisting, and keep it straight up and down. The cable tie clips I had, and used, really anchored the light strip while going over the wood under my trim as you can see in the pictures… I started at one end and installed it til I was done, and then drilled a 1 inch hold under the eve and snaked it into my storage. I then plugged it into a short extension cord, and then into a timer so it would come on automatically. It worked perfectly, and I love the way it looks when I come home… time will tell how long it will last, but being LED, I’m expecting a long life… cheers

Installation was easy, what the rope is capable of impressed me, bright, dimmable and the colors.

The media could not be loaded. Very satisfy. See how I line the edge of my lawn. It's very Bight and there are enough clips for install. 2 bags of 10 = 20 clips per 50 ft. I bought 2 sets and they connect up perfectly. This is much better than the individual LED looking rope light. Spend the money on this if you want a quality look.

Arrived very well,packaged, and the Color (daylight white, or 6000+K) is as advertised.Seller has many different options available, but does not necessarily post in the description all that you would need to determine brightness and Color. If you have a specific need, it’s best to message them, as they are very fast to respond.Time will tell if Color and brightness remain constant over time, but for now, these are doing what we need them to do.
