The media could not be loaded. I have both styles. The square and the triangle tripod. I've been using them for several months now very regular as I'm an off grid kind of guy and prefer to cook outdoors if I can. If you keep them dry the mesh lasts a good while. Mine show no sign of wear. Try not to leave them out uncovered overnight after the fire is out. If the evening dew soaks in those ashes it'll cause rust and then the screen will need replaced sooner. With the tripod I don't usually have much of a fire in that. Just big enough to cook. It's not meant for a big fire. What I do is make a big fire in the 22 inch square one and transfer the coals to the tripod for baking biscuits and cooking eggs and bacon on a cast iron griddle. I like the fact that I can do everything I could need with them from staying warm to boiling tea and coffee to cooking an entire meal for a half dozen people and they both store up about the size of one of those small travel umbrellas. They take up very little space in a saddlebag or a backpack and they weigh next to nothing. Only thing I would change is I wish the chain was longer on the tripod. And also a tip on the square ones. When clipping the screen on I found that if you, instead of putting both tips of the clip through the grommet of the screen straddle the grommet instead they'll stay up in the tube a whole lot better. After that this thing can hold a lot of wood. Now I've got a bunch of little twig stoves that I'm never gonna use again. 😆

It's easy to assemble and held the weight of the small logs just fine. Since it's very airy, the fire didn't really get going until enough tender burned to make a nice layer of embers under the fire. I used it for a small backyard fire. There's nothing to catch soot and ash underneath so I recommend a fire mat. The edges of the mesh and the aluminum legs stayed cool, didn't get hot, during the fire. It is very light weight. Anytime I wanted to poke the fire, I had to put my foot on one of the legs to keep the pit from moving around. It was sturdy enough, but I wouldn't feel safe with uncontrolled dogs or children running around it. Everyone around the fire has to respect that it's a fire with smoldering embers on 4 narrow aluminum legs. I like the product and will be ordering another for some family members that like to camp.

Gave this as a gift for a family and the recipients have replied multiple times that they love it. It allows them to burn a campfire in their backyard, camping and at the lake. They seem extremely happy with quality and ease of use.

The firepit was as described. All pieces where there. The storage/transport case was big enough to get the fire pit back inside with room to spare for a lighter and fire starter. The entire kit, weighed 20 ounces. It worked well in my test.

Bought this item for a camping trip and it held up well. Very compact and lightweight. And not too expensive either.

I saw this on a review on YouTube and thought I would try. It turned out that it works great and no ashes underneath. We purchased the smaller size. In retrospect I would have gotten the bigger one. This works fine for a small patio though.

This didn’t come with assembly instructions. I arrived with a base and 8 separate poles. Netting had some small rust spots. I was impressed by how compact it is when it’s all folded up but I couldn’t figure out how to assemble it. I also imagine that once it’s used and dirty I’ll be less likely to want to handle it and fold it up in the compact bag.

This very handy portable fire pit is great for small campfires in locations that either don't have a fire pit. Setup is simple, and it provides a great platform for building a fire. The ash simply falls through the mesh, and the fire is easy to maintain. I definitely recommend this great camping accessory, and it is very reasonably priced too!

Me gustó que el producto llegó a tiempo, piezas completas, sí es de acero inoxidable, fácil de transportar. Las instrucciones de la caja no son precisas pero fue fácil de armar. Desconozco su resistencia real. No me gustó que la caja llegó prácticamente abierta.

Great little thing and easy to setup. Pretty durable too.
