The bell is smaller than I expected but rings loud

We bought this bell for my 98-year-old dad to ring if he needed something. He quickly adapted to the idea, and it does the job when we are upstairs with doors closed and cannot easily hear him call. It seems sturdy, and has a good loud ring to it.

I loved how this bell looked. We got it for a Christmas play. However we had to return because it wasn’t loud enough.
