Bought these for my 1 year old (now 2 years old) who loves superheroes. Adult-oriented visuals (vs. the kiddie-style DC books) but not violent. The books are really just introductions to the characters, not legit stories, but that's good enough for younger kids. The larger Marvel book includes many of these books, but is less durable.
