Fan works great. It moves air nicely.

I use it in my laudry to get out toxic vapor and detergent gases

Works great but noisy. Also it's thicker than one 2x4 wall with 1/2" sheetrock on it. Must be about 6" wall thickness requirements.

This little fan works perfect for the space we intended. We built a small addition to our home to accommodate our hot tub and exercise equipment. Consequently we needed ventilation for the hot tub, this works great in addition to a ceiling fan we also installed.

---Update Dec 17, 2024---Bought on August 23, 2024. 4 months later it stopped working. Do not get it.I am using it for a bathroom fan even though the listing said it is not suitable for that. I didn't see the warning until after I installed it. So far it has been working fine. I just don't like how underpowered it is. The fan blade is made out of cheap plastic. It wasn't working out of the box. The fan was loose and wasn't mounted flush with the base. I glued it in and it spins freely. I have it wired using an extension cable I cut off the head and tail. The head connects to this fan wiring which has a live wire, neutral wire, and ground. The tail I connected to a boxed light switch. I didn't want it to turn on when the light was turned on. I put a box underneath it so it can be used separately. This was an easy installation. It comes with everything you need. I like the 6-inch hose because it is flexible if you don't cut directly straight through the wall, you can maneuver the hose so it fits. If the fan fails in the future, I just remove the fan and put a new one in which can be a different model as long as it can take a 6-inch vent hose. You don't even have to remove the outside.

Works very well in our small bathroom. Good airflow and power.

These fans are extremely loud and there is no variable speed switches allowed to slow it down and make it quiet

Added an additional fan in our large bath, it is definitely a quality product, excellent air flow and really not that loud! Recommend highly. . . .may be problems with the do it yourselvers installing it, take your time, it will work! (I am an electrician and have installed many vents!) This vent is less than half of what most good vent trhough the wall vents would be, I recommend highly.
