It is as expected.
I bought this a few years ago, and it's still holding up like a champ! My little one adores it and continues to cuddle with it every night. The color hasn't faded a bit, and it's as comfy as ever. A fantastic purchase, definitely a 5/5.

Thin and color is paler than expected, but good stretchy cotton blanket
This is a fine baby blanket, but it is lighter weight than I was expecting / hoping for. OTOH, it's a nice stretchy cotton blanket that's great for swaddling.I was trying to match the parents preferred colors with this and I'm disappointed that the celery green is such a pale green that looks almost yellow in some lights. I might try to overdye it.

Old school swaddle blanket!
I’ve been a mom for 30 years. Through all 4 babies, this was my go to swaddle blanket. I’m a pediatric RN so I believe in a good tight swaddle! This blanket has the perfect stretch needed to swaddle a squirmy baby. Traditional receiving blankets are OK if your job (a hospital) is providing the blanket but at home, I wanted something that didn’t remind me of work and kept those tiny extremities tight.

Worth it.
I live in Florida which it gets really hot during the summer. I had my newborn in May and I could not find this material in the stores. Everyone seems to carry the really thick material. This material is perfect. It does not overheat the baby.

Staple Baby Blankie
Wanted a classic, neutral baby blanket that had stretch and would be great with multiple outfits this Spring. Remembered these lightweight thermal blankets from when I was little and an Amazon search brought this right up. Price is awesome. A little small for swaddling, but great basic little blankie overall. Softer after every wash and baby loves.
