This is my first Amazon review but I felt the need to express how disappointed I am in this product!The first time I ordered this set of travel dog bowls, the little red hook on the red bowl came broken. Not a big deal, but I returned it for a replacement. After one week, the replacement literally fell apart. I went to pop it out to give my pup some water, and it just tore to pieces. I am super gentle with my things, so was really surprised by this. My last travel dog bowl (which I bought in a pet store) lasted years! But unfortunately I left it in a park by accident.Needless to say, I have to return this item twice now. Such a waste of time. These products should last at least a year if you care for them.

The fitted cover is a game changer. I can clip this to a belt loop, with a knife and spork handy I've got a complete mess kit. The silicone not only compresses very flat, but holds a meal when opened up, and what can't be consumed immediately is kept free of bugs, critters, debris, and remains fresher. The silicone insulates the hands when it is full of hot food, and can act as a double boiler as well.The rims around the bowl not only retain the lids, but allow a small carabiner to attach the bowl for storage. More importantly, the hard plastic rim around the lip of the bowl provides structure and prevents spilling as silicone bowls without such a rim distort and flex.The only thing to be weary of is that the rim is a two part snap together frame that sandwiches and pinches the lip of the silicone bowl. It retains the bowl at a few points around the lip of the silicone which is soft. After several uses it cuts through the edges at those points and comes off. You can reattach it by rotating it slightly from the initial grip points, but anticipate repeating as it wears. For the price you'll get a great deal of use from it and it is very convenient for tailgating, camping, kid snacks, dog treats, and as dog feed bowls. I will be buying more.

Out of the box, this seems like a great value for the 6 dollars that it costs. The moment I washed it with soap and water before letting my dog use it, the rubber bowl popped right out from the plastic ring that holds it all together. Once I put it all back together, any time I try to put the lid on or off, it all falls apart again. Junk. Will return for a refund.

Bowls work great but not for daily use. I use mine so its easy for the sitter to feed my dogs while I'm at work. Im on my 2nd set in 2 months and they have fallen apart again. The plastic ring rips away from the silicon. Won't buy again bc they are not durable enough

Bowl broke the first time I tried to use it. I literally just put water in it and it fell apart. Maybe I got a defective one but I would not buy again.

These bowls are great, especially for travel. I used one of them today for the first time. We took our dog to PetSmart. The bowl when flattened fit fine in the side pocket of the car door. When needed, I just popped off the lid, pushed open the bowl and filled it with as much or as little water as needed. When my pup was finished I dumped the water (or I could have popped on the lid and kept it for later if our trip was longer), wiped it dry, scrunched up the bowl, snapped the lid back on and dropped it back into the door pocket. What could be easier?

We take our dog on errands with us all the time when the weather allows it and we are always dumb and forget water for him. I can always buy a bottle from a store or gas station but he doesn’t really know how to drink out of a bottle and it just makes a huge mess. I bought these and it’s perfect because there was 1 for my car and 1 for my moms. I love that they have the lid so the water doesn’t splash everywhere. He is a little dog and the size is perfect for him! I love that it Han just be slid in the seat pocket or can hook to anything in your car as well.

Good, inexpensive, collapsible dog bowls. I’ve owned the same set without the lids for about a year now and they finally broke. I like the addition of the lids because my dog will often have kibble in his bowl that he hasn’t finished while on the go and now I can cover it so it won’t spill in the car. I will say I do feel like the silicone is thinner/less firm that my dogs old set but I don’t know how much that will matter. Overall good bowls, and I will likely buy again once this set breaks.
