Got this as an add-on to my compact 90 amp handheld stick welder (the kind that looks like a power drill). Gives me a little better control and isn't as awkward in tight spots.All I needed was the electrode holder and cable, so the other cable was a bonus. Can't beat the price. Good strong springs. Heavy-gauge cables.The way the electrode holder is designed, it'll only hold sticks securely at 90 degrees, so if you need to vary that angle, you may want to look at an upgrade. Barring that, I'm sure this will get the job done for a long time.

I bought these mainly for the ground cable and clamp (mostly the clamp) as I have pretty much burned mine out. It took a lot of years and some pretty heavy use to do that.. So I thought I'd just get new cables and the works for it, and the bonus was that the cables were a bit longer the the O.E. stuff.. Now, my welder isn't the cheapest thing on the market, but it isn't the most expensive either.. I get the new kit and I can see right off that everything is made of heaver gauge materiel than the O.E.. I expect to years of use from these.

I needed some decent cables to connect my Lichtenberg Burning machine to the wood. I drive aluminum nails into wood and send high-current electricity thru the wood, making these cool burn effects. Without a good connection, it does not work. Before, I was using clips that would just melt with the flame from the wood and the electricity being pumped thru it. These do not have that problem.Not sure how well it will preform for welding but for my use, it was perfect.

Not high dollar, but they work! You get what you pay for, and these get the job done without any frills! Very short, but when you are welding in your kitchen hooked up to your dryer plug in the adjacent laundry room, how far can you go. Wouldn’t use these to do a lot of heavy structural welding, but just homeowner stuff here at the house they are fine, but like I said, these leads are SHORT! The positive part of them, they are light, so you won’t get tired dragging them around… you won’t be able to trip over them either… they are short!

I’m am new to stick welding so I’m no expert, but they work and I’m getting better at it. Also, I had a concern when I received my machine and the vendor replied soon after I ask and all was good .
