It is poorly absorbed by the small intestine and may produce diarrhea if ingested in large amounts (20-50 g). This product does not mention the amount of Sorbitol, but it has not affected me. EVEN THOUGH THE SIZE SEEMS LARGE, IT IS EASY TO SWALLOW. I WAS AMAZED THAT I COULD EVEN TAKE IT WITH OTHER PILLS WITH NO PROBLEMS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SIZE (1000 MG) AND PRODUCT IF YOU NEED THE LARGER DOSAGE, NO AFTER TASTE OR NEGATIVE REACTIONS.

I will have to watch what I buy next time. I did not read how large the pills are. I will buy the same brand but smaller pills next time. I haven't had any problems with a fishy taste. Some other brands I did. I don't think they smell bad.
